Ed, do you think there is any substance to the small article that appears in today's daily Reflection by James Nursey, that says Henry has held talks with the club, and is demanding a move.seems like scaremongering again, but what do you think?

{Ed034's Note - he did hold talks and since then we have offered an improved contract. if Lansbury has then said he will not sign, I would sell him and re-invest

Well nobody can blame Fawaz if this proves to be true, he's obviously doing his utmost to keep him and I agree with you ed, it would then be time to get rid.
Cant help thinking Mr Lansbury is being a tad hypocritical though as it wasnt long ago he publicly slated Van Persie for moving to Manchester United after Arsenal had supported him through his injury. doesn't that sound a bit familiar.

{Ed034's Note - I cant fault him if he wants to move up a division, but he needs to understand the offer has to be right for him to do this

If it was me I'd sell him because if all these rumours are true then the last thing we need is one player with this kind if attitude bringing down what appears to be a very positive place at the moment. Henri is a very good player but not irreplaceable. I'd hold out for top whack and then replace him. In pretty sure that Psycho will know how to handle him.

COYR!!

3.) 14 Aug 2014
Don't get me wrong do want him to stay but as Pearce has said let him prove his worth. Would love to be able to hold my bosses to ransom

4.) 14 Aug 2014
No Guarantee that Burnley can offer him a better deal than Forest have either, if they have already spoke to his agent then Forest should report them for tapping up.
Think it's just rehash of last weeks story

If he goes, it would be sad if there is a lot of ill will towards him. While I hope he stays, I understand that if he goes he goes. I for one will wish him well, and hold no grudge. I agree with u ed, reinvest, and move on, but let's not make him public enemy number one.

6.) 14 Aug 2014
I think people need to calm down and stop talking about a players apparent attitude.

This is probably lazy journalism, and we don't know what's been discussed, so let's wait and see what the facts are before we start questioning a players committment to the club

7.) 14 Aug 2014
Sure there is chance of some loans coming in soon we have Vaughan to come back in, plus Osborn henri is better player but if we could sell for around 4-6 mill and get a prem player on loan that can stay fit

8.) 14 Aug 2014
If he goes I can't see it being Burnley, qpr or West Ham

9.) 14 Aug 2014
One newspaper saying we are interested in Nick Powell. could that be Henri's replacement?

10.) 14 Aug 2014
I think he should understand that, there will always be a Burnley waiting in the wings. In terms of a newly promoted club wanting him. But I'd advise him to give us one more year and be part of history if we go up! Surely that would be more satisfying than getting relegated with Burnley.

11.) 14 Aug 2014
We can't carry a player who doesn;t want to be at the club. Cash in on him and get a replacement on loan.

12.) 14 Aug 2014
If Lansbury has held talks with Burnley then surely Forest would've sanctioned the talks and allowed him to go. I don't think we could accuse anyone of 'tapping up'.

If he does go, I just hope it's sooner rather than later so we have ample time to find a quality replacement.

13.) 14 Aug 2014
Ed won't like you saying that.

{Ed034's Note - just find it rude

14.) 14 Aug 2014

I'd hang on to him for one more year unless Burnley offer silly money. We won't be able to replace him with equivalent quality and so will be weaker.

15.) 14 Aug 2014
If he is determined to leave then let him go and cash in on him, I admit he is a very good footballer, but to be honest he isn`t all that.

We can replace him with an equally good player, in either King at Leicester, Forshaw, Powell, there are players out there that can do a good job for us in midfield.

16.) 14 Aug 2014
Hasn't he had a history of injury both at Forest and at Arsenal? If that is true I think £4m for someone who is only going to play halftone season is good business.

17.) 14 Aug 2014
Already said it a few times, if he wants to go to Burnley the transfer fee has surely go to be over £4.5m we all hope closer to £6m.
Which let's face it for a player that spends a large portion of the season injured or suspended would be good money.
Just hope Fawaz let's Stuart re-invest it in the team ( dm and a striker?).

18.) 14 Aug 2014
Bang on Ed. If he's not going to sign let him go.
To be honest Paterson could turn out to be just as good if not better.

19.) 14 Aug 2014
Totally agree Ed - business.
