Billy will see himself as above that and rightfully so imo he is still a good manager was just unlucky with injuries and his choice to listen to his paranoid cousin

Can imagine the headlines, as a Blackpool side made up of kids and amateurs, managed by ex forest manager Davies, beat promotion hopefuls forest away on opening day of season. can't see him going tho.

Wasn't his fault we had 13 injuries and besides look at how he was in his first spell tails even said he was perfectly fine till his cousin showed up on the scene

The game will go ahead, they are better off turning up with 8 pros and 7 kids for a squad because if I remember rightly Middlesborough failed to show up for a game at Blackburn and not only were Blackburn awarded the win, Boro were docked three points, so better to lose than actually have three taken away.

Billy was a complete nightmare towards the end of his tenure as manager. He acted like a spoilt child at times, who had just dropped his teddy from his buggy. The whole media situation was a farce; these are exactly the type of people football teams and managers should have on their side and he alienated them. His cousin was a complete Job Nockey who basically acted like he was playing Champ Manager. And whilst I agree we had some awful injuries, the way Billy did diddly squat to counteract those injuries was shameful, instead coming out with this player or that player will be back soon, so we'll wait. End result? Plummet down the league.
I was glad he went, and I couldn't give a cow's carrots if he never managed again. Sorry ed for the rant. sore subject still. But hey. this season rocks already!!

Only bloke I know that's been paid 7 or 8 years wages for a couple of years work. I will laugh my head off if I hear an interview with Billy where he says "what would Billy Davies say about the blackpool rumour".

Billy Davies needs a physiatrist not a football club.
He is/was a talented manager, he put a squad together that should of walked promotion twice. But the little Billy in his head started inter fearing and the rest is history.
Ed, can you really see him with Rangers? Billy without a penny to spend?? Billy ego says he can! We all know he can't.

{Ed034's Note - yes i can. he is a massice rangers fan, has always said he wants to manage them and i have been told he is waiting for them.
his ego would love the chance to get rangers back to the top of the scottish prem.

Billy Davies a good manager, never has been and never will be and will hopefully never manage another club again.

He cost us millions and left us in mess.

Can the irritants name be banned from this site. We have to move on.
