Ipswich apparently want Danny Collins and Yeovil want Simon Cox on the bird site currently take with a pinch of salt

1.) 15 Jun 2014
Let them go if they have the £'s

2.) 15 Jun 2014
I will drive colins down to Ipswich or anywhere for that matter if the club wants.
Personally think a lot of people will have to backtrack on what they say about Cox next season.

{Ed034's Note - I don't think either deserve stick.

3.) 15 Jun 2014
Collins is probably 5th choice behind halford at the back anyway but I do think he gets some unfair stick at times. We would certainly need a replacement if he does go

{Ed034's Note - Collins was seen as fourth choice, but if Peltier comes in, expect him to leave

4.) 15 Jun 2014
Totally agree ed does my head in when people say will drive him there myself would they really I think not

5.) 15 Jun 2014
If Stuart Pearce asked me to then I would. collins is awful and that is being polite.

{Ed034's Note - Collins didnt deserve the stick he got this season

6.) 15 Jun 2014
If Cox and Collins are giving it 100% and I have no reason to think their not, then they can't be slated. If they simply are not good enough but are giving their very best then you can ask no more of someone than that.

Collins has given his all and so has Cox. Problem is they are not good enough. Sorry Ed, I understand what you are saying but I am there every game and I get a really bad feeling every time I see Collins on the team sheet along with Harding and Halford. We need to move forward so these need to be left behind

{Ed034's Note - I'm not saying they shouldn't be moved on, I'm saying they don't deserve abuse from fans....so if you think about it, you don't know what I mean lol

8.) 15 Jun 2014
For a team going for promotion, collins is not good enough. made a lot of mistakes last season, two particular awful ones against brighton on the last day (one which they scored from, one which he got away with). doesn't deserve abuse but is not good enough even as a back up anymore. considering he's probably earns more than lansbury as well, time to move him on

9.) 15 Jun 2014
Collins is possibility as he was there before. Cox works hard and should concentrate more on scoring. Personally I'd keep him. Not our worst player. Can fit into a lot of systems.

10.) 15 Jun 2014
To all those that think we should move Collins on I ask this question - who else out there is better as our 4th choice central defender?

He is a perfectly good squad player

11.) 16 Jun 2014
Sorry gazza2969 but if I was on 1/4 wages of collins or cox, I would give my bloody all. It's the least I could do with my distinct lack of footballing ability. Bit like collins and cox. Think we paid well over the odds for cox.

12.) 16 Jun 2014
If you move collins on and harding you and bring I peltier then you have cover in full back and the centre of the park plus one less wage under ffp

13.) 16 Jun 2014
Notorious PB, how much their on is irrelevant if someone is giving you everything they have how can you ask for more, and as for paying too much that's got nothing to do with the players mate.

14.) 16 Jun 2014
I like Cox (Ha). He may not be a goalscorer but his all-round play is very good, he can drop deep, link play and occassionally do something special. I'd still like him in the squad.

Collins on the other hand, I'd piggy-back him to Inverness even if I had to pay for the pleasure. Thanks for the service but goodbye.

15.) 16 Jun 2014
Cox is a great team player definitely gives his all, just a shame he cannot score more. I would keep him though. Collins on the other hand thanks for your service time you went on your merry way.
I would never boo any player who wears the Garabaldi unlike some! When Collins is on the pitch. He simply isn't good enough even as 4th choice. I think getting Peltier in is a must.

16.) 16 Jun 2014
Yes, Collins does give his all, but his all is at a level of talented players who give 20% of what they could. He just ain't good enough to start, but only move him on if we get a decent offer, since I also agree he is fine for No 4 or No 5 back up CB

17.) 16 Jun 2014
I personally have no problems with Collins - he does an "ok" job and allowed JL to shine a little bit but let's face it he's getting on a little now, if another team is interested and are willing to pay then let them have him.

I'd probably get rid of Harding over Collins - he's alright going forwards, but a little bit weak on the defensive duties.

Cox has to stay, he's a good player if he sits behind a striker because he links play up well and works his socks off every game. His problem is he's not that quick and not that strong so he needs to play purely by movement, which again is great for the other strikers a lot of the time, but doesn't help his goal ratio - though I'd judge him as a midfielder, not a forward.

{Ed034's Note - Harding is available

18.) 16 Jun 2014
Would defo keep Cox. Very handy to have around. Thanks Collins but sadly past his best.

19.) 17 Jun 2014
Cox and Collins get rid, Collins to slow and a liability, cox just ineffective.

20.) 18 Jun 2014
Collins not good enough
Cox runs everywhere with no end product both should go
