I've heard from someone who knows a player (Won't name him) That Lansbury loves it at Forest but wants to go back to London and will do so if a London PL club comes in for him.

So Maybe QPR if they go up, Palace?

If he stays at Forest he will be looking for a new contract

I think its 50/50 with him.

thefamousteam

1.) Agents probably trying to force forests hand, if he's truly committed to forest get it sorted if not cash in either new bumper contract or we have had other clubs asking about him, so fawaz and pearce will do what's best for forest. I can't see any club completing a deal until his injury has completly healed and he's fully fit and that includes forest offering new deal

2.) As much as I really don't want Lansbury to go it won't be the end of the world if he does and we get good money for him. At the end of the day it's a team game and look at burnley they lost there best player last summer but got a solid team together and walked second place.

3.) I don't really know how anybody can say, get good money for lansbury and let him go, forest struggled without lansbury In midfield whilst he was injured, you build a team round your best players, forest need 2 quality striker's to complete a very good squad already assembled, with 2 strikers who know where the back of the net is, in my opinion we will be challenging for top 2

4.) I never said anything about getting rid WAZZA I only said that if he does go and we get good money for him us fans don't need to think it's the end of the world. When he was injured we didn't have anyone to replace him but if he were to leave we would buy somebody else. Just like burnley did when they sold Austin. ITS A TEAM GAME.

5.) Well said Wazza 12.
If we sold Henri to Fulham for £5 million
and he played a big part in winning them promotion, and we missed out again
would they still think it's good money then.
Henri Lansbury is 23 and only going to
get better that's why teams are interested in him.

6.) 16 May 2014 09:03:39
looks like harding might be on his way to orlando adrian heath is interested

7.) 16 May 2014 09:54:52
I did not think we needed the money. If we do sell simon cox and abdoun. We need lansbury it would be hard to replace him. Make him highest paid player if that's what it takes.

8.) I'd be surprised if he went to Fulham, not a step-up in my view. QPR have financial problems even if they get promoted. That leaves West Ham United and Palace as realistic destinations. West Ham United will depend on whether Allardyce is still manager as I don't think Lansbury would be his sort of player. Palace most likely choice, maybe with Guedioura in part-exchange.

I've heard from within the club that SP is looking to do a swop between us and Celtic for Abdoun and Commons.

This is in no way a done deal and at this stage is only an inquiry

thefamousteam

1.) Celtic have a 1 year option on him and Lennon is talking about tying him up for longer. I would be amazed if Celtic went for this. 32 goals this season (27 of them in the league), league winner and Scottish football writers player of the year. If you were Lennon would you swap them?

2.) Come on, wake up from your dream!

3.) I would rather give Abdoun a chance than a player who left us for the rams - there are excepts to this rule but not Commons!

4.) Id rather chop me bits did than have fatty judas back

5.) 11 May 2014 23:25:04
Commons scored 32 goals this season, my eight year old son could score 32 goal's in the Scottish league, common's is past his best and over weight

I have copied and pasted this from a usually reliable rumour source. fingers crossed.

"Hearing strong reports that Blackburn have accepted a 8. 5 M bid from Nottm Forest but not going to through till the end of the window this is happening because Blackburn are in Debt this deal will Include Derbyshire & also Forest are trying to chase Huddersfield James Vaughan for 3 Million, that's why we never went in for Wells because of Huddersfield wanting to offload Vaughan"

Don't shoot the messenger i'm just sharing this with you.

thefamousteam

1.) You are saying that we are going to spend 11. 5 m plus Derbyshire going in this window. How I'd love to believe this but fear that the James Vaugn may be the only bit vaguely accurate. Him and Wickham would be a better deal I think.

2.) Thanks for sharing that. It sounds a very unorthodox way of doing things if true.

Anything that does not go through until a later date leaves other clubs with the opportunity to get in and tie a deal up before our originally proposed date for sealing any deal. That would be a huge gamble and risk for us to allow another club to sign him before us. I don't see how the delay would positively impact any debt issues they have either.

3.) I'll buy you a pint if its true! I'm praying but can't see it happening.

4.) I can't see Huddersfield wanting to get rid of Vaughn. Him and wells would be a decent partnership in that league so they don't want to lose goals and risk the drop

5.) Not shooting the messenger but all of those players are available and fit for moves so why would it be the end of the window. I don't think forest will take the chance on last day deals again. It will be all wrapped up before then this time round I think or they will move on. They don't want another sako and they know the fans dont. They will just be taking their time getting the right deals for the right players. Its not as easy as bid one day sign the next.

mod red

6.) See I dunno about the Vaughan deal I think something's up and he will be leaving don't think it'll be to us but did anyone else notice that he wasn't in huddersfields team yesterday

7.) Yes he did not play yesterday because he's been out for a few games with a knee injury.

8.) Red Diva, in response to this:-

"You are saying that we are going to spend 11. 5 m plus Derbyshire going in this window. How I'd love to believe this but fear that the James Vaugn may be the only bit vaguely accurate. Him and Wickham would be a better deal I think"

That isn't what I'm saying, that is what i've read and am simply sharing this with you all.

9.) Vaughan is injured. Hudds Chairman said on radio yesterday that Vaughan would not be leaving this transfer window.

A Huddersfield fan

10.) A gossip page, a reliable source?

{Ed034's Note - it's gossip and it's a source

11.) Ed, what's wrong with everyone this weekend?

I stated a "usually" reliable source that in the past has had some substance and some truth in it.

I am not suggesting this is a done deal or a fact.

12.) My point is the use of the word reliable. Because it's not.

{Ed034's Note - he says usually reliable. Why so you bother coming on if you are just going to have a go at so wine for posting a rumour he/she has heard

13.) Its a rumours site on which you get rumours and speculation and gossip.

If you don't like rumours and speculation and gossip then I suggest you stay off sites like this and just go to Forests OS where there is no rumours and speculation and gossip and signings only appear when the ink is dry on the contract.

Goodbye

14.) Too many people come on here to moan or just pick fault with someones opinions- take it all with a pinch of salt and a smile o. Your face-thanks for sharing your info whether its good bad or indifferent - the result is a website that we all keep looking at and enjoying!

15.) Thanx 2tone

Its not even necessarily my opinion, I just copied and pasted it and thought I would share it with you all.

Then get slated!!

COYR's

16.) So we want Rhodes, James Vaughan, David Vaughan and Hobbs with a grand total of over £12million!that's some sorting out to do this window.

17.) Don't know anything about this, but I must say that Wells reeks of a replacement for Vaughan to me.

09 Jan 2014 23:46:59
Nakhi Wells to Huddersfield.

Funded by James Vaughan to Forest.

Within the next 7 days I will come back on here and say "I told you so"

thefamousteam

1.) Good call!

2.) We'll see. don't be too embarrassed if wells goes to villa and Vaughan to Celtic lol ;0)

3.) Seems the chap is 50% correct so far just have to wait and see if he brings home the Bacon.

4.) Hope so vaughan reminds me of collymore

5.) I bet you I wont

6.) 10 Jan 2014 23:07:57
I hope you're right, love Vaughan, quality striker!

I don't usually post rumours as I am not in the know and don't know anymore than anyone else who trawls the internet or reads the newspapers

However,

A good friend of mine has spent the new year in the Lake District where he has a timeshare and he rang me this morning to tell me about a conversation he had with a woman who works in the offices at Blackburn.

Forest HAVE made contact with Blackburn about Jordan Rhodes, she didn't know whether talks are at an advanced stage or transfer fee's or anything else, all she knows is that Forest have made contact but so have other clubs including QPR and Crystal Palace.

This is all I know. Fingers crossed.

thefamousteam

1.) I doubt very much that a women that works in an office at a football club would have access to such important information regarding transfers unless they are on the board. And I don't just mean women, I don't think that anyone that works in a office including males gets told such confidential info! Hope its true but doubt it!

2.) I agree with you about an office worker having such info but her info was limited and according to my mate, he was just chatting to her and her hubby and mentioned he was from Nott'm, she asked if he was a Forest fan and she volunteered the info without my mate asking, so she had no reason to make this up.

I'm not saying her info is true, I don't know, just sharing what I heard.

3.) I'm sure, like any other office, you do hear the odd conversation

Adam

4.) But its believable because we have already shown interest in Rhodes, tell us something we don't know

5.) Blimey, the season of goodwill is obviously over. The guys only put a post up and explained where the info came from.

6.) "But its believable because we have already shown interest in Rhodes, tell us something we don't know"

To the person who posted this.

Would you like to tell us all how YOU know we have shown an interest in Rhodes?

All you've done is make an assumption based on fans hopes and speculation and cheap speculative journalism.

I await.

7.) "To the person who posted this.

It was in the post ask Ed keep up lad

Couldn't agree more about bringing Billy back. The toilets need a good cleaner.

{Ed034's Note - I think we'll cut the billy comments off there lol

Hi ed and fellow tricky trees

I am just deciding where to purchase my season ticket

I want the area of the ground where the atmosphere is generated

I've heard that's it's going to be in the lower bridgeford from now

Is this true?
Perhaps ed and my fellow reds can advise me?
Thanks all

thefamousteam

{Ed034's Note - I sit in u1 and love it there. Good view and atmosphere. Lower bridgford sounds like it will be good this season. That would be my two choices

1.) Thanks ed

Anyone else know if lower bridgeford will be good for atmosphere
Maybe some a blockers are moving there?
Thoughts please

I posted a while ago that if QPR go up then Harry will be in for Lansbury.

Lansbury loves it at Forest but he does wish to move back to London.

He will consider a move if a london PL club comes in for him.

This has come from a Forest player that my mate knows.

I think he's off to QPR

thefamousteam

{Ed034's Note - they have to match out value first

1.) Of course ed and we may get good money for him, but how do you replace a player like HL?

{Ed034's Note - you just have to. He's very good and will be the hardest to replace, but he isn't Messi

2.) Iv just posted, but if he does would love Odebajo there. Lansbury would command a good fee, at least 5-6 m surely.

Ive heard from another site that Callum Wilson has chosen Bournemouth over us.

I find this worrying that we are losing our targets to teams like Bournemouth (No disrespect)

thefamousteam

{Ed034's Note - no proof that either he has singed for them or that we enquired

1.) I find it worrying that people are worrying about stuff that hasn't happened yet.

2.) I find it worrying that people are worrying about other supporters worrying about transfers that haven't happened yet. Its just worrying.

3.) I also find it worrying that you find it worrying that other people find it worrying that something may or may not happen.

4.) I'm worried now!

5.) I find it very worrying that you can add no disrespect after any disrespectful comment, and it instantly nullifies any disrespect.

No disrespect thefamousteam

{Ed034's Note - no disrespect, but could you register please

Hi all

Wonder if anyone can help me.

In the match on Tues V Huddersfield we sold out of our allocation of tickets a few days before the game.

Despite this there were many empty seats in the Forest end.

Can anyone explain?

thefamousteam

{Ed034's Note - we get given an initial allocation, which we sold out and then if there is a demand, we ask for more

1.) We were given a second allocation and we sold that also as I understood it

Praps we didn't

{Ed034's Note - possibly but we did not ask for the whole stand

2.) Seats they didn't give us, fans decided not to go due to weather/illness etc. how many times have we sold the city ground out for a derby? Plenty. How many times has the ground been completely full? Never. There's your answer

3.) You could pay on the gate/ticket office on the night for the Forest end

Two things mystify me about this posting

1) how can you say that you wouldn't be sorry to HL go? He's our best player!
2) nick Powell is not better

It amazes me how when players could leave, that player suddenly becomes not as good and other players become better
Strange!

It amazes me how fans suddenly think a player would be no good to us when it looks like he is going somewhere else.

Also how can you compare Lansbury with Zaha?

Two completely different players

Makes no sense

Fans saying £7m not enough.

But they are unaware of the terms of the deal.

If loaned back to us it may mean we don't pay wages or perhaps a small amount, saving lotsa money.

We don't have to pay a loan fee, which clubs normally would.

The truth is we only see the headline rate of £7m but this will rise depending on appearances and also has many other benefits such as reduction in wage bills and no loan fee to pay

Look at the bigger picture guys. its not just about the transfer fee.

The problem here Gazza is that no club will loan a player for us to use as cover.
The reason clubs loan players is to give them game time not to be fringe players.
Otherwise what's the point in loaning them?
