Think that's kind to Janko, Steele and Watson.

Bit harsh on Osborn and Soudani who were played out of position.

But otherwise I'd agreed.

The root of the problem for me, is the lack of football for players who are not regular first team starters. As we don't seem to use the senior squad for U23 games, so they have no competitive football at all. and it shows!

Bridcutt, Soudani, Goncalves and Steele all looked really slow. Not over the ground but in the head, which you can expect when they are not playing for weeks.

Red James, can I just heck your definition of 'constantly' playing Watson and Colback together? Does starting 2 of 8 games together this season really qualify as 'constantly'?

I know they played together a bit last season too, but that was a different time.

When Guedioura is fit, he is first choice but he's not fit.

Saying our academy products are not good, because they are not as good as Ryan Sessegnon is like saying Harry Kane isn't good because he's not as good as Messi.

You can be good, without being the best.

I remember about 3 years ago, when Psycho was in charge, people wanted him replaced with the fella that was in charge of Brentford, due to his success and their great football.

That all worked out well!!

Careful what you wish for

Dazza, it seems a bit of an odd view that your greek acquaintances have, given that Olympiacos have won 19 of the last 21 Greek league titles (not to mention the 25 in 60 years before that). With Evangalos having only been in charge for the last 7 of those.

He just did what he has done in previous rounds and rested his league team in the cup. And in all honesty that shouldn't have been a problem.

I think if he'd played his first team and Grabban or Robinson or Lolley had been injured, he would have been slated for not using the squad.

I don't think
