The reason the deal to sign Grosicki was late was nothing to do with Grosicki, WBA or Forest. It is a fact stated to me by a source closely connected to West Brom who said it was the players agents time keeping which lead to the deal being delayed. On more than one occasion apparently? This is genuine!

1.) 29 Oct 2020 15:01:18
yes mate, I'm bored of people spouting it being to do with money to Grosicki. It wasn't that at all. Somebody deliberately or through incompetence screwed up the deal.

More time on the pitch for Mighten. Good news!

2.) 29 Oct 2020 15:44:33
It's always a conspiracy on here according to some and they are very quick to blame people when they don't have the facts.

It does get tiresome, move over Hollyoaks, there is plenty of made up drama on here.

3.) 29 Oct 2020 19:13:21
If the players agents time keeping was poor the player could have taken over if he was really bothered about joining Forest.

4.) 29 Oct 2020 19:37:32
Regardless of any theory the deal didn't go through because the deadline was missed that's all there is to it.
We've signed far too many already and we all know some will never kick a ball for us.
Hard to understand why we sign players that aren't even given a chance and just sit around picking up a wedge.

5.) 29 Oct 2020 22:08:48
Hollyoaks?
Gingerkid is that a new type of tree?
Does it keep half its leaves while shedding the others in the winter?

6.) 02 Nov 2020 17:08:44
We need as much firepower as we can get. Goals like gold dust. Grosicki would have been useful and had done it before at Championship level. We will need somebody similar in January whichever end of the table we are at.

Gonna be down at Wembley around 8am Sunday morning. Hotel about 2miles from stadium. Anybody on here going to be milling around at lunch time? For a meet up? Does anybody know if there are any pubs nearby, where do fans tend to go?

Sorry but haven’t been to wembley for thirty odd years so not a scooby do what there is to do around there!

1.) 25 May 2022 07:17:14
Me and jolly and probably 2tone hoping to meet up with ff79 at the green man Wembley keen mate. 79 tells me that's where most will be heading. 👍.

2.) 25 May 2022 08:32:20
Just remember lads thus Wembley with 90k thirsty and hungry people not Nottingham.
While I might be heading that way initially plans could easily change depending on the circumstances
From past experience I'd say to get a drink it's jump on a tube to somewhere like Harrow on the hill.
Like I say with that amount of fans around be difficult to meet inside a pub.
Play it by ear when you get there is the only way.

3.) 25 May 2022 13:29:09
Ok keep ya phones on I’ll contact you via the forum if it’s possible.

4.) 25 May 2022 14:17:21
Ok keen I've asked ED 33 (politely) if he can put the live forum on 1pm so use that.

Being at the match yesterday you don’t get to see replays. So when I got back I watched it back. The chances we missed were glaring. Some of them were easier to score than to miss. Even colbacks goal came to him from a ridiculous miss from zinc hitting it straight at the keeper from 2 yards. On a plus note Worrall played some great balls from centre back. Cook and McKenna seem to get most of the praise after games but Worrall yesterday was involved in 7 of our attacks which led to attempts on goal. I can’t wait for Tuesday I’m going for the same score line 2-1 to the reds 4-2 on aggregate.
Scorers Surridge both goals.

1.) 15 May 2022 08:32:37
Agreed keenred. As I mentioned the long ball was used to better effect rather than messing around at the back. With their 3 main strikers missing it showed with little end product, I wonder if they might risk getting one or two of them patched up for Tuesday.

2.) 15 May 2022 08:35:01
I missed yesterdays match sadly but a great result . I don’t think any team scores on every occasion there is a good opportunity. 1 / 5 shots on target scores? I remember a time when we 0 shots . So well done to the lads who fought hard yesterday, overcoming that draw against Hull and the unfair loss against Bournemouth. Tuesday I will be there in a match with an atmosphere that will exceed the Liverpool match . My belief is a win with SC the inspiration behind team I cannot see is loosing.

3.) 15 May 2022 09:00:06
What a performance!
We all know that we should have be put of sight by half time.
I was up in Belfast with a mate, when we scored I went nuts!
Everyone looking at me a bit bewildered.
😂😂😂😂
On to Fortress City Ground!
Wembley here we come!

4.) 15 May 2022 09:42:50
Had a discussion with a neighbor who is a Foxes fan he pointed out in his view that it was good there was no VAR he said Utd would have had a Penalty earlier when Garner fouled but their goal would've been canceled for hand ball so swings and roundabouts either way he agreed we should have won and by many more goals, certainly need to score early Tuesday to finish them off.

5.) 15 May 2022 10:00:01
I actually thought Worrall was a bit lackadaisical with some of his passes, especially early on: I was verbally asking what he was doing at some of them lol. Better second half, although he did lose his man for their goal, in my opinion. Don't know what it is about Zinc, but virtually every scoring opportunity he gets, he's hit the ruddy goalkeeper. We need to employ the Spence-Johnno overlap more, which we seem to have stopped playing as much. only saw it on a couple of occasions yesterday, and as we know it is a potent combination. Great to see KD9 back on the pitch. And Lolley did pretty well when he came on. Still cannot understand what the gaffer sees in Mighten: yeah, he's quick, but usually has no end product. He runs a lot, for me, and that's it. Expect KD9 to start Tuesday, bully the opposition and rile them up.

Great game of football today 2-1 half time. Thought Johnson had his best game for a while. As everybody knows I’m very critical of him but today he put a shift and scored a great goal. My man of the match would be Colback. Garner and Zinc very disappointing today. But we should of been 5 - 1 winners but we are Forest so bring on Tuesday!

1.) 14 May 2022 19:08:28
Garner was superb.

14 May 2022 10:04:11
On route to Sheffield. Nervous but excited. Fingers and everything crossed. Would take a draw but to Nick a one nil lead or even two would be amazing

COYR we absolutely deserve this!

1.) 14 May 2022 12:05:52
Give a extra loud shout out for all us that won't be there 💪💪👍👍.

2.) 14 May 2022 13:25:47
Come on you reds give it 100% and prove that I know absolute nothing about football by beating them Ey by gums and stick up the bean.

11 May 2022 21:45:52
Reading the posts re playoffs on here are hilarious. Jolly thinks we will get beat 79 thinks it’s in the bag. All I know is we can play out of our skins and give the performances of the season but as long as there is a ref and officials it will count for nothing. The standards are so bad. I know VAR is going to be used but even that gets it wrong. So in my opinion what will be will be. I personally agree slightly with Jolly and I’m not confident in beating Sheff Utd, I think they are in a better frame of mind at this moment in time. However if we get past them and into the final at Wembley I would feel the opposite and think we will beat Luton or Huddersfield so don't care who we’d face. They don’t worry me as much as Sheff Utd.

1.) 11 May 2022 22:20:45
Let's just say I'm a confident person and your a pessimistic person keenred.
Ps your also sitting on the fence with your post?
Take no notice of the Hull game because once mckenna and cook are back in the side along with yeats and colback, then utd will find it hard to score seeing as we only leak 0.5 goals a game, that's where my confidence comes from.

2.) 12 May 2022 07:22:31
79 I’m not a pessimist fella. I’m a realist. I think we are good enough to beat anybody on our day (including Liverpool (which nearly happened) You don’t know me, you’ve never met me. People who do know me will tell you I love this club. But…. Whenever these huge occasions come round we either

1. Bottle it and give a disappointing performance

2. Get done by a shocking Ref

3. Or become unlucky by the opponent’s keeper having a worldy and we hit the post and crossbar etc

We just seem to fail on these big occasions. This is not pessimistic it’s fact. We are the most unlucky team in the EFL!

3 x play off failures all because of example 1

I have my my fingers crossed for the sheff Utd game, but to win we will need more than just a great team. We will need, our best performances of the season, luck, and a ref with a tenner on Forest to win. Now it’s a lot to ask but we will need all of that to happen. If it does then I feel confident we can beat Luton or Huddersfield in the final.

You see a little bit optimistic🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.

3.) 12 May 2022 09:26:07
Well a realist would see that with our defensive record and scoring record we are favourites.
Simples.

4.) 12 May 2022 09:37:32
Mariner is the referee for the first leg and in the 19 games he's took charge of Sheffields games they have only managed 2 wins
Does that make you a wee bit more confident?

5.) 12 May 2022 10:21:03
79 being confident in words is simple but would I have £100 quid on it?

No because it’s not always in our hands if we win
Re- the last post.

Fingers are crossed, tickets sorted home and away legs.

Wembley hotel booked! ( sorry that’s the pessimist in me)

I can’t do anymore than to prey we have a bit of Lady Luck and a bloody good go at em 🤷‍♂️.

6.) 12 May 2022 10:58:44
If you have the confidence to book the hotel then you should be confident we will get there?

7.) 12 May 2022 11:14:31
Seeing as Sheff Utd record in the play offs is also terrible, and their fans don't seem over confident, one set of us has to be wrong. Close to call, but if we play as we can, we win.

Surely a ref that lives within 20 miles of Huddersfield can’t ref a game of this magnitude? He knows he will get stick for the rest of his retired life from the locals should they not win. Then to top it off Craig Pawson a devout sheff Utd fan is the . You can’t make it up.

Gonna have to beat Huddersfield and the officials Sunday!

Nervous but confident. We play like We did at home to leicester and Swansea we win. Play like we did against Luton or Sheff Utd at home then hold on to seat because it will be a bumpy ride. I’m going 2-0 Davies and Yates 🤞🏻🤞🏻.

They were good 79. Thought ya boy Johnson was good too. Don’t mind admitting it when he puts a shift in. If we play like that on Tuesday it’s in the bag👏🏻

But… we are Forest so we won’t make it easy and we unfortunately we will have officials so anything can happen. But as a team sheff Utd don't bother me as much as they did before playing at their place.
