I think it is Dane Murphy who is choosing the players with Chris Houghton just saying what positions he needs filling.
I think Steve Cooper would be a better fit than Chris Wilder. Steve Cooper was the Swansea manager, Liverpool Youth, England U16, U17 winning FIFA U17 World Cup and was the Manager that Chris Wilder said would be the best to take over his role of managing Sheffield United.
Chris Houghton nice bloke but doesn’t inspire players to get the best out of them and tactics are out of date and doesn’t suit what players he has. A good manager can make a team punch above their weight with belief and play to their strengths.
