According to Mr Southgate the pitch invasion and violence associated, reflects the mood of the country.
Judge ; Mr X did you head butt Mr Y during the pitch invasion at the CG?
'Your honour I was frustrated as to where our country is heading '
Well Mr X I can easily understand after Mr Southgate's wise words - case dismissed!

Violence such we have seen recently has no excuse and should be severely punished.
Mr Southgate has many fine qualities - his choice of tie, his carefully matched jacket, his excellent handling of the press and his good relationship with his bosses . I believe he once played good football as a defender but that was some time ago.
Mr Southgate should stay out of giving these thugs a reason and excuse for their behaviour.

He does dress well and has been a average England manager but he's right it's an embarrassment to have to play behind closed doors because of a few stupid idiots and whether that's because of the state of the world or this country the fa will act and it will affect all fans, the true fans will suffer so if he highlights the short comings of the club's to stop it they will force clubs to do the same so stop it stay in your seats you pay enough for them.

Southgate is easily the best England Manager we've had in my living memory (although El Tel was good) .

I've never seen an England Manager speak so much sense and make logical and fair decisions with players and squad selections. He's been an absolute breath of fresh air.

And he is 100% correct about the state of this country. Many people are desperate, unhappy and struggling to survive. I can completely believe this is why we are having so many societal problems, including football crowds. This country is a sham and ran by crooks, the populus are generally not happy but are not intelligent enough to channel that emotion in an appropriate way. We should be fighting against a murderous and corrupt Tory regime but instead we're running onto a football pitch and punching professional players, that, or calling people horrendous and bigoted names over social media - This country is lost at the moment.

All this is true what you say is right even your opinions of Southgate but the way the country is run will not change, the government are liars and will remain so but they will still get in next time because the majority of the country has no backbone end of story.

Wonky - put labour in charge and it will sort everything 👍🤣
I’m not into politics at all but one thing I do know is that you can’t trust any politician or any party - it’s a game to them all.

The only honest or semi-decent and prominent politician around is/ was Jeremy Corbyn (love him or hate him) but the establishment knows he's honest and decent and therefore cannot be bought or owned by the a-holes that have their claws in this country. That's why the national press (Murdoch et al) have spent the last decade ridiculing and discrediting him. They couldn't possibly have an honest man running things and ruining their gravy train.

I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw him and I wouldn’t have let him run around the block by himself let alone run the country 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣.

Im with you you 2tone. I'd rather have hughton than corbyn. At least hughtons thoughts were defensive. Corbyn wanted rid of all the subs etc. The IRA would have had more arms than us.

Fair enough, guys. Although, are you sure you're not just echoing opinions voiced in the mainstream media? 😋.

I don’t really take much notice of any media wonky but take a balanced view across what I see, read and hear. Screw all politics let’s get back on to football. Did you manage to get tickets for Sunday? Hoping to get to a pub near Wembley at 11:30 ish sink a few beers and soak up the atmosphere.

In response to your comments, do we have a alcoholic as prime minister, is he making decisions drunk, under the influence, all the pictures I have seen of him he has a drink with him. All other jobs he has had he is drunk, cheese and wine at all hours. The Burlington club, drink .
