The morning rag says Leicester are trying to complete an £8m deal for David Mcgoldrick?? Surely he's not worth that?

I just think it puts their deal up there as a bargain, compared to the stupid money flying around at the moment.

Well said ed. some people just see that we sold them for nothing but when you look at it we have Britt and Antonio who have scored us about 8 goals already this season. no brained for me. we didn't spend anything over what we sold for so ffp will be happy.

As a loan signing, Hunt. One of the best right backs at Forest for a long time. As far a perm signings. It would be a toss up between Burke and Macienne. It's early days though!

Seems like a really strange rumour. McGoldrick has had one good season in the Championship, isn't that young, and just coming back from injuries. Weird.

Surely getting Troy Deeney or Jordan Rhodes would be better, even if they'd cost over 10 million.

This McGoldrick fee is high-level crazy talk. I'll put my hands up to having had doubts about the Assombalonga deal but it's clear on the evidence so far that Stuart Pearce is more astute in his dealings (and his ability to build a cohesive team) than I'd dared hope.

There is a lot more to D.M. Game than just scoring goals, good control , passing, clever , just wasn't,t used right at Forest and not played consistently like many of the strikers who we paid good money for over the last 15 years, who have often gone to play well elsewhere,hopefully SP is going to put this right by not swapping and changing the front two all the time and give them time to gel together. Mcgoldrick could flourish in the premier.

I doubt he's worth that, besides his failure at Forest he has done very well at the other clubs he's played at, just not a player suited to Forest style. He's a talented player and may flourish at Leicester. Does make Forest transfers this summer look good business though.

Was at school with David Mcgoldrick and wasn't even the best player in the school although he's kept on improving. Always seemed a nice guy though and still remember vividly playing football with him one saturday and he scored a goal with his backside :)
