For the amount of charges Man City have against them they should be relegated straight away to non league football, but I don't think that will happen because money talks.

Reading the beeb comments section the general verdict from fans is much the same, if ourselves and Everton had points deducted for one charge, its only fair that City get similar or worse for their lack of compliance. Rangers and Juventus have been booted to the bottom and recovered, surely a similar fate is coming to the blue side of Manchester. ?.

I may be wrong but I'm not sure the Premier League can do that directly mate. The Prem and non League ruling bodies are seperate entities.
I believe it would have to be done via points deduction only ie 100 points virtually guaranteeing relegation to the Championship then on from there if they can't comply with Championship sustainability for further points to League 1 and so on.

Unless they can come to an agreement.
I'm happy to stand corrected by our esteemed and knowledgeable Ed 1 though.

Yes your correct I think it would take an understanding between the two bodies to send them strait to division 2 and City would like appeal against that.

Yeah i know that, but any ruling will be ratified by the English FA, who have ultimate control over the league system. Also can you see the National League or any organisation lower rejecting the chance to have City playing under their banner? I certainly can't, the revenue for the other clubs at whatever level surely can only be beneficial. ?.

I'm interested to see how the murky waters of compensation goes, they knocked us out of the FA Cup on the hallowed turf of Wembley and ultimately claimed a spot in the Champions League.

Minor when you look at the claims the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea will be readying. Then think about all the sides across Europe that have been eliminated by them. The mind boggles lol. ?.

Just ban them from ALL football for a couple of years. Might make them think twice about what they've done. They have to be made an example of, no ifs or buts about it.
