Ginger ? wordsworth. Any f kr sitting in the Yorkshire area, creaming loads from poetry. While sitting looking at daffodils Good on them. Us lot in the geordie area call them hippies claiming pip ?.

Wordsworth had quite an exciting and racy life as a young man.
Went to France, saw the start of the French Revolution, fell in love with a French lady and had a child by her. then when the Revolution turned to terror and bloodshed ( as most Revolutions do) returned to England and wandered the Lake District with his sister, writing poetry.


" Bliss was it to be alive that Dawn
But to be young was very Heaven”.
Don't we all know it friends.
Poetry is filled with eternal truths.

Dorothy's poetry was very good Bowie. She'd be a giant today compared to some of the mediocre, virtue signalling stuff out there at the moment. An age where clever women were largely unrecognised. The Brontes and George Eliot changed all that eventually, even though they had to disguise their names and have male alter egos to get published.
My wife and I went to the Lake District for our 50th birthdays ( both of us within 10 days of each other in December).

Went to Hawkshead but Wordsworths School was closed. Visited Dove Cottage, with the newspaper insulation and the stream running under the flagstones. Very cold. We have a moody photo of Wordsworth's grave at Grasmere in the frost under a clear blue sky, somewhere in the house.
Went to see Beatrix Potters House ( where they filmed) with my first wife and very young daughter. Beautiful bit of the country mate.
