Well I listened to the whole game on Saturday and now I've watched the whole game on Forest TV.
So my observations:
Cunha, McAtee and Schlager were good.
Ndoye was ineffective but Jesus was miles better. Delap was ok but Kalimuendo rather than Wood would have made more sense from a thrust and speed point of view. MGW never got into the game.
In general terms both sides were poor. Forest had no fire and got no rhythm going at all especially in midfield since McAtee was asked to be defensive - Sangare can do much better there and push McAtee further forward.
If there was a Glasner plan I failed to see it at all. Much of the game seemed aimless on both sides, perhaps because they don't know what to do or can't yet combine with each other.

We wasted corners and failed to keep any possession except in the last 15 minutes.
Distribution by Sels and Murillo was poor, and we kept failing to get any second balls.
Munoz is ok and Delap will get better with more minutes and harder training.
All in all a nothing game and hard to predict what we might be like ten games in, but if we fail to improve it looks like a bottom of the table scrap again.
Not sure Williams scored but not sure on this showing that we deserved it. Peter Bankes is anathema to us.

It simply has to be the manager, mate?
Most of the first 11 have been together for nearly 3 years now.
They must know how each other plays.

Thanks, Bse... I'm missing my Forest fix atm and need a catch up. Interesting analysis, and much appreciated. ?

Bsered, here's my observation, but a much shorter analysis.
Before slipping into a coma with acute boredom on 65 mins, I witnessed the biggest pile of disjointed garbage in a long time. Another bang-average season at best unfolded.

You clearly don’t read your own posts Skegs ……….epic fails on repetition, punctuation, spelling and it’s often pure gobbledegook when you’re agitated…..

You must have had a good holiday. Spent 90% of it on your phone posting. I bet the Saturday nights fly by in your house.

Still having a great holiday, Larry. The sun continues to shine, the cold drinks continue to arrive, mate. But I prefer a more active, yomping type holiday like our cruise around the Mediterranean earlier in the summer. The only exercise I get poolside is running rings around you ... Gotta go, another cocktail ? and snack arriving.
Cheers. ? ??

It's all getting a bit creepy and stalker-ish, to be honest, lads. I'm out of here...
Before I go, I remember Julian Cleary fantasising (for comedic purposes, obviously not genuine acolytes like you lot) to Ian Hislop on HIGNFY about tying him up and having his way with him...
Hislop's reply was superb. "Tie me down? Yes, you'd have to, Julian". ????

I did enjoy it, Larry, thank you. They are very, very funny in a way that you can only dream of, mate. You are to wit what (your icon) Larry Grayson was to Rugby League. ? ?
