Interesting that Og says his squad are not yet ready for the Prem. I guess he knows that there will be last minute additions without time to get them up to speed or blended with the rest.
For me it looks like NDoye has come back from the WC on fire, McCatee has put on muscle and might have a much better season, and Cho and Bakwa face an uncertain period as to how and where they play.


I think we could be formidable this season, but we might be six weeks in before we can judge how good!

We have a significantly better squad than when we qualified for Europe imo. We might not be that lucky with injuries though, so we still need a couple more players.

I still think we only need a couple of signings, Rogie. Beef up the goalkeeper department and either a replacement for Ando or a striker. As strikers are as rare as rocking horse ? and very expensive, I'd probably rely on Taiwo, Kalimuendo or Woody, and see where we are in January, mate...
We don't want a mass influx of dross as in previous seasons.

Wingback, left or right, and I'd be happy, tbh. We looked really good last night. The midfield department look strong, fit, with plenty of running in the tank. Forwards are looking sharp. Sels will always be no.1, Victor isn't bad backup, and bring Bot in. And please, Mr M, buy Sangare a pair of shooting boots. ? Even our set-pieces have looked dangerous pre-season. ?
