I can’t see how these constant losses are going to boost team morale, especially when teams like Leeds are winning theirs. In our recent past bad pre-season results have indicated a poor season ahead.

The main thing about tonight's "games of 2 halves" for us was surely the return from injury and 45 mins plus for Cho and Murillo?
Plus try 2 different formations. Otherwise, meaningless with the 2nd string out against Udinese and a game fiddled against Barcelona by 2 penalty decisions which would have been overturned by VAR, one disallowed on Ndoye and the daft one with Milenkovic when he wasn't even looking at the ball.


Get Reindeer and Neil Diamond signed, 2 games to fine tune at the WFCG and it's looking a lot brighter imo....

Admire your optimism, as usual. If we wait to get players in at the last minute, how are we going to get them fit enough and mould them into the team and style we want?

Last year we didn't score a goal in pre season.

Then scored 3 in first half of first game v Brentford.

Using Boxing analogy. This is just sparring.

I believe Diomonde and Reindeers have both had some pre season. It's not ideal, as I've said before on here. I'm sure OG would, like any coach, prefer to get his new players in, done and dusted asap. Certainly before the trip abroad and intensive tactical drilling.
I blame the crazy transfer window being still open after the season's start.
