To be nice and unrealistic for next season I’d absolutely love if our squad looked something like this. Would definitely get European football of some description.

GK: Trafford, Sels

RB: Aina, Wan Bissaka/Walker-Peters
CB: Murillo, Milenkovic, Cunha, Morato/Bassey, Abbott
LB: Neco, Netz

CM/CDM: Sangare, Dominguez, Yates, M. Fernandes, Hackney
CAM: Gibbs White

RW: Bowen, Hutchinson/Bakwa
LW: Goncalves (Sporting), Hudson Odoi

ST: Parrott/N. Jackson, Kalimuendo, Jesus.

Good shout, mate. Clearly, we should be looking at squad depth with quality. Think McAtee is at a crossroads moment?
Personally, I would take another chance on him.
He is quality, however, as we all know, he doesn't really show it enough.

Agreed, bsered, but that would be a dream squad for next season. I think if we can add 4/5 good quality players we'll be top half next season.

As for McAtee, Rogie, I'm 50/50. I think there's a player there, but I think his game time will be even more limited next season, so for that reason he misses out for me.

Maybe a loan to one of the promoted clubs? Unless VP fancies him next season or is planning a different formation/tactics to allow him to feature. Just can't see where he gets the minutes to grow at the club.
