I'm back Bowie mate ?. Went to the Villa game but couldn't make it tonight, but watched it in pub while working away. I repeat and can't understand how anyone can't see it - the problem is Igor Jesus. We have a striker who has only 3 league goals and is not good enough to score at this level, only short range tsp ins or close range headers. Every time he gets the ball he can't wait to get rid of it, whether a pass is on or not. Pound for pound (please note I said £ for £) he is the worst striker I've seen in a Forest shirt, totally useless, we have been conned by him and his agent.

He won't score in the PL league, and VP risks relegation selecting him. How he came out for the second half against Villa I don't understand, he was awful. How he gets into the team every week is beyond me - he adds nothing. Yates would do a better job up front - anybody. Had enough of watching him. Rant over! Got to play better against Burnley and Villa in the semi. COYR

I disagree, rhr.
Our problem is Hutchinson, Bakwa, and Ndoye that bring nothing to the table.
Wood won't score with those wingers.

Jesus is not the problem. How often do people centre to him or pass to him in the box? Did you see a single corner or cross tonight that was any good? Maybe one from Cho late on. Even Woods will not be able to feed off the stuff our wingers, etc. put in.

Good to see you back, Rhr. I take it you sorted the problem out. I just hope that win hasn't cost us in the Premier League. First 25 mins, we looked ok, then we went to pot; nobody can cross a ball. Ndoye should be nowhere near this team. Good old reliable Williams. Player of the season by a mile.

Totally agree. You need a lot of service to score goals, look at Woods last season. Our biggest mistake last season was getting rid of Ellanga, one of the fastest forwards in the league. If we sell Anderson, let him go back home and get Ellanga back. Hutchinson isn't a patch on him.

From what I saw last night, the reason for the lack of crosses into the box was because there was never anyone there. Jesus is not a 6 yard box type of striker; Wood is. Jesus hangs around the edge of the box or beyond the far post.

Time and again, our wingers and full backs had no choice but to play back or square. Hopefully Wood will be ok for Sunday. He had a lump the size of an egg at the top of his right shin when he came off.
