This is going to be a tough watch over the next few months.
What worries me is that the squad look shattered and a bit disillusioned. I know they get paid a fortune but there has been so much change (turmoil? ) at the club anyone would feel a lack of morale. I know we do as fans much of the time too. So will they.
In the first season we stayed up on Taiwo’s goals and Cooper’s love. Let’s hope the leaning tower from Naples can be our man.
We are something like 6/ 7th biggest net spenders since our promotion. For every good purchase there’s been 4 or 5 that appear to have made no difference (yet cost us on PSR massively). What has our strategy been?
I think Nuno will keep WH up - I always have. God knows what happened at the end of his time but he helped spearhead our best season in 30 years before Mr M came on the pitch and started dining with Ange at awards dos. Such a shame. Maybe it was only ever going to last for a year or two. He is a v good manager and they have quality attacking players.
So it’s up to the coach and the players (and SD didn’t sign any of the players). We have enough quality in certain areas but who knows. If you don’t score, you go down.
What I do suspect is this…. It will be a disaster economically if we get relegated. I’d doubt many have relegation clauses. I don’t mean sellable assets like Anderson etc, I mean the lesser lights still on 50-100k/ w.
I also know this. Nothing will consistently improve until the club is run differently. I pray it does but I’m not holding my breath.
Good luck to the guys tomorrow.

Spot on Agen. It all went south when that head case Marinakas gave Nuno a dressing down on the pitch. Nuno will have the last laugh when we go down and West Ham survive.

You are right BL.
We have the 9th highest wage bill in league.
Brentford’a is the 20th.
How you run the club - in every sense - is what decides the outcomes most of the time.

Well give up your seat rhr and move on cus the owner isn't, have you forgot where we where before he took over?
I haven't and been to Wembley twice and seen the city ground packed week in and week out.
So let's get rid of the bank and go back to fighting relegation in the championship at least youll be happy we haven't got a head case owning the club to moan about, that's what some of you are calling for
Bet Sheffield Wednesday fsns would love the backing of our owner.
