Jack Collison on his way to the city ground on a free. apparently. what do you recon ED the fountain of all forest knowledge.
{Ed034's Note - I think he'd be an excellent addition but im bit site where this ache from and if there is any truth in it
1.) If he did come does anybody think he would just be a squad player or starter and where would he fit in?
{Ed034's Note - he'll be pushing to be a starter.
2.) Be a good signing if he can prove his fitness.
Other than peltier are u aware of any players of interest to SP ed?
I still think we need a RB, attacking CM and a winger. Potentially another forward depending what we ship out too
{Ed034's Note - it's all very hush hush at the minute. Players have been looked at over here but I expect another veldwijk player to come in
3.) We were after him in February when the midfielders started picking up injuries but I think Leeds are also looking at him now
4.) Hi ed, your answer to Keeno is spot on. I have been at CG today as usual, and not heard anything worth mentioning, very few there as most are on holiday at the moment. I heard a strong rumour about Collison a while back but there are concerns about his long history of leg injuries (we don't want anyone else arriving with ongoing problems) No more about Peltier yet but do know that he would jump at the chance of joining us. I agree with you that we may be getting another from abroad, let's wait and see.

{Ed034's Note - his best position is central midfield and he'll slot in there. We need more than just Reid, Vaughan and Lansbury and he'll bring competition....only problem is this has come from a well known liar and fake on the bird site
6.) I take your point on the validity of the Collison rumour Ed but if it did turn out to be true then I suppose there would be no reason to sign Peltier?
{Ed034's Note - why would there? Collison us a versatile midfielder, peltier is a versatile defender.
Jara has gone, so peltier will take his place. Cover for lichaj, can cover cb and also dm. Peltier can play central mid and in a more attacking role either side, a bit like Lansbury if you like

8.) Getting these type of players in is the right way to go. Along with Halford Peltier and Collison they cover so many positions it is ridiculous not to. Not only common sense to get em in but financially correct aswell.

Too soon for premiership I think for Henri, He has the quality but not sure about the mental attitude, don't forget its not Henri that has said no to the new contract its his agent trying to get more money. If Henri has another good year in the championship with 10+ goals and assists and if he can stay injury free. then he would be in the 10mill+ bracket and have the top sdes looking, he's still very young and not the full packge yet, but is very very good non the less
Very well said by Mr Fawaz, I have the greatest respect for him and what he wants to achieve with our football cub, its never an easy job and what ever happens he will always get abuse from the miority of persons out there. Keep up the good work Mr Fawaz, I'm 100% behind you and so should all of the forest fans

{Ed034's Note - we are looking to bring in two strikers. this guy as back up, along with helping bring through veldwijk, isn't a bad move. wont be first choice, but can still do a job at this level
If he has a good season in the prem his price tag will go up, English players prices are shockingly over the top. , he still would't get a top club move, too much money where a simlar european player will cost half as much. It may be loans from then on to make up numbers for home grown players in squad. its not a good move and I know Stuart Pearce will not want to let him go unless he has a replacement sorted.
