Just goes to show how a team that is set up to play to their strengths and the opposition rather than a set playbook will usually prevail.

I just hope Warbo is watching Ireland and remembers Murphy's other seasons to remember on where to deliver the ball as this guy is better than most that have worn the Garrabaldi number 9?

Leads the line better than anyone I've seen at forest for many a year, and scores goals and can defend at corners, all round top centre forward.
Britt knew where the net was,but didn't do the others, great to have him here and brereton is a lucky lad to learn off that experience.

Totally agree Murphy if supplied with the amo could turn out to be a steal in today's inflated prices

Well 19 goals from 30 caps for Ireland I'd like to think all our strikers can learn from the guy but as you said 79 especially young bereton

Shouldn’t brereton be learning form the wingers rather than a striker?he should be learning how to swing a ball in onto the head of Murphy not how to hold a ball up on the wing.

I hope he gets another couple against the welsh to knock them out. can't forgive the scenes of celebration when england were knocked out of the euros. Come on big Murph.

Red85 we all no bereton is not a winger I'm sure he'll be a good striker for us soon I wouldn't imagine there's a winger he could learn off apart from the great Robbo

If we know then why is the great one playing him out wide?he won’t become a good striker playing out there for a season,it will set him back as everything he is doing now is totally different to whet he’s been doing up until this season!

Sutton, I'm not disagreeing on where he is playing, but a certain Garry birtles was made to play midfield for our reserves while learning his trade, didn't turn out too badly if I remember right?.
Just be patient the boy will come good.

I bet brereton wished he hadn’t of been sold to Liverpool as he would of been loaned out to a champ club that would of played him in his preferred position and he would of been developing his game.
Next you will say Wenger put Henry out wide and look what happened to him.

Sutton he hasn't
Been sold to anyone, let alone liverpool.
Wenger bought Henry as a winger and turned him into a forward.

I meant had of been sold.if he had he would be developing his striking skills at another club not getting moaned about by fans because our manager keeps playing him out wide.
