Two results tonight prove that international breaks are bad .
Bristol and Cardiff had momentum and it gets broken up,the buzz of winning gets forgotten.
To many,to close together.
Fans don't want it and I doubt players and managers do either.
Most championship sides could carry on playing ,all you lose is a few players in general.
Two weeks off and next playing Saturday, midweek and Saturday again.
No good for game or fans.

4 1 to the Rams

15 Oct 2017 14:36:48
Madness taking McKay off .

1.) 15 Oct 2017 14:47:19
Wtf is warbo doing?cummings has been poor, take him off for ward leave McKay on and leave dowell on.

2.) 15 Oct 2017 14:51:47
Totally agree sutton. warburton is a clueless foool. .his days will be numbered and guaranteed at the post press conference the usual banter will be. "the lads played well etc etc. ".
Mr.Marinikis won't want results like this each week.

3.) 15 Oct 2017 15:01:12
Warbo has killed the game for us.

4.) 15 Oct 2017 15:05:09
We were the better team but with Cummings decision making and finishing we will struggle.mckay was the most dangerous player on the pitch.dowell should of been left on as he can strike a ball.
Big shout out to Osborn, always wants the ball always willing to do the running and gets stuck in.proper forest player

5.) 15 Oct 2017 15:05:52
Sutton if you want Dowell left on after giving the ball away there for a goal and being crapp all game?

6.) 15 Oct 2017 15:08:37
I would rather leave him on than being clough on for him!

7.) 15 Oct 2017 15:09:37
Eric has to be a regular now.

8.) 15 Oct 2017 15:15:24
both goals were down to Bridcutt, not Dowell.
Didn't pick up Vydra for the first and could have stopped the Vydra run for the second but let him go

9.) 15 Oct 2017 15:33:53
Chugsy ,you don't try juggling the ball in your own half? That was Dowell and totally agree for the first, but not the second.
It is the midfield that's the problem though, anyone blaming the defence today needs to watch the game again.

15 Oct 2017 14:24:21
Like I said take Dowell off, just cost us the game.

1.) 15 Oct 2017 14:26:33
I agree - is he actually playing!!!!!!

2.) 15 Oct 2017 14:38:42
No wonder we pass it so much. we have very few players who can actually go past a man.Seriously lacking pace.

3.) 15 Oct 2017 14:43:11
The one who can go past someone has just been subbed, unreal rogie

4.) 15 Oct 2017 14:47:17
"Carry On Cleo" is on soon. i've nearly had enough of this one. 😫😫😫

5.) 15 Oct 2017 15:03:13
Warbs is probably already thinking "Infamy!!! Infamy!! They all have it Infamy!!!"😱😱😱

6.) 15 Oct 2017 15:42:14
Lol,rogie πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

15 Oct 2017 14:15:32
Bad start, but been the better team and created more chances.
McKay will bag one,They can't deal with him.
Be tempted to take Dowell off,too many fancy flicks that aren't paying off.

08 Oct 2017 19:00:52
Well that's that over with, painful as it Was, back to watching proper football and some excitement .

1.) 08 Oct 2017 21:11:33
Thought you had no interest in international football?

2.) 08 Oct 2017 22:20:53
I don't waste of space, didn't bother to watch listened on and off on radio while working.
Knew what was on the menu.
More of the same dross with Hoddle the pundit who. could do a better job than that waste of space in his suit.
Needs to learn how to smile, no wonder the team is boring.

3.) 09 Oct 2017 13:19:08
If one of my players wore gloves in early Oct. he,d never play for me again ,what a f------ whimp ,just about sums them up ,no heart no passion ,imagine SP in gloves ,give me strength!

4.) 09 Oct 2017 15:37:15
The only gloves I could see SP in are boxing gloves :)

5.) 11 Oct 2017 17:20:32
Not as painful as the group stages are going to be 79

6.) 11 Oct 2017 19:55:13
I'd rather watch bake off on catch up Lol Russia here we come well for a couple of games then back home utter garbage and Southgate has the cheek to say where still learning pi__ poor

05 Oct 2017 20:35:11
They stop the leagues for this rubbish.
You can see it's really working, spending more time together at international level.
Far too disruptive to the leagues and crap for fans with too many midweek games to cram in.
That was garbage first half.

1.) 05 Oct 2017 22:24:01
What would you prefer a qualifying tournament for the actual World Cup or euros?when would you play qualifying games? pre season? end of season? xmas?

2.) 05 Oct 2017 23:27:18
I think people need their heads looking at even contemplating going to Russia with Putin's heavies waiting.

{Ed033's Note - Putin's 'heavies' are waiting to do what?

3.) 05 Oct 2017 23:29:11
You are right. This is why as a nation we don’t care about the England team,it’s a London thing. We were always going to qualify, given an easy group by a corrupt FIFA..
The whole football scene stinks!

Premiership clubs can spend millions, relegated clubs receive millions. FFP applies to certain clubs, administration applies to others.
There is no sensible reasoning for these desisions if this momentum of power and money persists,Forest will never be a force again.

Chelsea were never fashionable, Man City were always underdogs. This shows you how money and influence changes everything
Football now is a massive money business. However, they still need us ,the fans to provide the theatre, the emotion the drive. Without us, football is dead.

{Ed033's Note - Maybe people should follow this 'Fans Not Numbers' cause:

4.) 06 Oct 2017 00:08:34
I do agree treeific but look how many of us fans got whipped into a frenzy when we thought fawaz was going to splash the cash and get us into the realms of the modern day Chelsea or Man City?? We all as fans of football need to take stock and look at the bigger picture. My local club have been through hard times recently but are sitting top of the league after a few years of struggle and hopefully are coming back stronger on a more sustainable business model, the old ground is ready to be flattened and rebuilt into new flats or houses but the fans are as loyal and buoyant as ever- never forget what football means at the lower levels and fingers crossed my local team and forest can enjoy many years of sustainable success!!

{Ed003's Note - 'the modern day' is going to change beyond belief in the next few years,clubs are going to be left in huge debt with no sponsor to support it - a wake up call is needed for all fans of football.}

5.) 06 Oct 2017 00:11:28
Sutton,I have no interest anymore in international football.
It's become a joke, the players have no passion for the country, take the money away and tell them to just represent the country,See how many would turn up?.
Scrap it for me,most games are against poor opposition and this lot won't get past the first round in the finals, clueless manager who hasn't and wouldn't survive in the championship.

6.) 06 Oct 2017 00:29:37
Scary thought ed but I think you're right. It can't keep ticking over like this and huge problems will be seen by lots of clubs in the future. I've seen two clubs that mean a lot to me crumble but luckily they have both managed to come back- up the poppies and the eagles- that's kettering and Bedford town if you don't know πŸ‘

{Ed001's Note - fingers crossed they survive, but it is going to get harder. Not just are the big clubs all looking to bugger off, but the modern day kid is going to grow up with a mobile phone glued to their hands watching highlights of the 'big clubs' and playing FIFA rather than going out and playing footie or watching their local team.}

7.) 06 Oct 2017 17:43:24
Agreed Ed. I'm sure when I speak for all when I say,in my work place during breaks, all of them are in their own little bubble . the art of conversation has become secondary πŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ˜”

8.) 06 Oct 2017 22:14:35
Totally agree with all. The sport we all know and respect is changing. It used to be 11 against 11, full on players who would die for the club, sold out stadiums, terrific support. Proper tackling, muddy, frosty pitches, not a blade of grass.
Injuries never seemed to exist.
I know this sounds like pure nostalgia.
Fast forward to present day. Pitches like a grass carpet, players are now toned athletes, perfect haircuts, hairless legs, multiple tats, fall over at the slightest contact, always injured! More money that they can’t realistically spend!
Then there’s the players agent, cancer of football. He has nothing to do with football, just looking for the best deal for his client and more importantly himself.
This is not the football I signed up for.
There is now a football elite, based in London and Manchester. Hopefully there will be European League , where all they can all play each other and tell us how good it is.
In the meantime,we could do a brexit, and enjoy the championship, we have massive historic teams in this league. Is the Premier league really the promised land?

Another way of looking at it is,most of the players he's inherited.
He has to sell our star striker.
He's given a budget and wage structure to work to,which looks low.
Can't see Oneil working with those restraints.
If you look at the big picture,we are signing young players for the future,
At the end of the season we will be saying goodbye to Fox Hobbs Eric Mills Vaughan Chohen Ward Carayol.
Most contracts are up.
Part of that is the reason we havn't signed defenders yet,
You can't buy a team when you already have a 25 man squad,it takes time.

Right then we've heard the same post over again.
Tell us who you think should be manager?

It's alright getting rid, puts the club back in turmoil, coaches mcparland, players that were signed, all have to go the new boss will want his own men.
Costs millions and no guarantee things will improve on the pitch.
This is how this club has got in such a mess and some of you want more of it?

Think we'll manage mid table,we've not got the players for a relegation scrap.
Think he'll be given at least till Xmas, but the owners will not want relegation after getting so many bums on seats,so warbo will know better than anyone that results need to improve.

Sorry you've lost me on Eric not being a centre half,he isn't and played right back and did a damn site better than darikwa, traore did his job and does most games,Osborn has improved this season and we have Vaughan ward and cash back all stronger midfielders than those on display against the sheep.

Personally would stick with that back four for Saturday on that performance, but think he'll change it and bring in Worrall for fox, purely because Burton are a side full of six foot plus players and Manc and fox not strong enough in the air.
Get ward in on right wing and Vaughan in centre mid and we'll be stronger all round.
