Come on Stevie give it a rest pal. Another tongue in cheek comment and you jump down the throat. My wife who isn't a football fan at all made the comment as I'm sure plenty of other non footballing women will have done, telling their football mad husbands, at least the women can get to finals and win. So chill pal I like mens football, don't like womens football, congratulate them acknowledge good goals but don't want to really watch it. Tried but couldn't get into it. To be honest not a massive fan of men's England team either, used to be but got bored of 20 mins of OK football then 70 mins of dross barring the odd good game. But again acknowledge what Southgate achieved and yes did watch the knockout stages of the tournament. So when you get out of bed in the morning get out the right side ?.

I can’t get into engalnd anyone either CIg, I’ve come to realise it’s maybe something that captivates the younger fans. I used to be passionate about the country but feel more loyalty and love for the region I was brought up in now. I feel a bit s*** for saying as my grand parents were WW2 veterans and would probably give me a clip for saying it but I feel frustrated by our country much of the time now and perhaps that’s why I don’t really feel much for international football.

Apologies if my post is controversial to some, I’ve no intent to offend anyone.

Got to be honest, not interested in women's football at all
If you like it fair enough, doesn't do it for me I'm afraid.

No it's a fair point pal. My nan God rest her soul lived in Hackney during the second World War and her neighbours house was bombed collapsing the shelter my nan was in. Her grandmother or ' Ma ' held up all the bricks so everybody could escape, she was the head of the house. If you wanted to get married or any family issues arose, basically everything went through her first, that's how it was in London then. My point being they too were very patriotic especially after living and breathing the war but times have changed and if you feel this country no longer serves its purpose right, your entitled to say so.

Nothing wrong with the country, that's why everyone wants and does come to live here
Problem is, it's an island that can't cope with this mad influx of people
Not about colour or religion, just a fact we can't cope
Love my life here.

NHS wasn’t designed to serve the needs of 85 million people with an average age of lifespan increasing as it has in the last 40 yrs. The nhs are the the victims of the success of Public health England and medical science. Consequently the nhs can’t cope. No country could do any better with the provision of free health care for all in my opinion. Had the architects of it had a crystal ball they would have realised the ambition was too idealogical to work long term. I’ve no idea what the answer is mate but it’s a going to be a massive issue for any government.

Other countries do better, so it is possible. We just spend less of our money on healthcare.

In 2017, among the G7 countries the USA spent 17.1% of GDP on healthcare, France 11.3%, Germany 11.2%, Japan 10.9%, and Canada 10.7%. During the same time period, the UK spent 9.6%.

More people have medical insurance in those countries - maybe not all.

In the USA for instance you can treat yourself for many ailments that you have to see a doctor for here, it all clogs up the system and wastes Millions for no reason.

13 years ago no waiting list hardly, you could see a GP the same week, something seems to have gone wrong these past 13 years, it wouldn’t be huge cuts, demoralised staff ; beds removed, buildings deteriorating, European staff leaving, no these were just coincidence, s.
Millions wasted on inferior c.v. equipment, care homes run into the ground, patients having to remain in hospital when recovered, no this was just bad luck.
