I'm curious to hear everyone's thoughts / opinions on our current goalkeeping and defensive options.

Who should go? Who should stay? Who should we sign?


And who should be on the starting XI?

Milosevic,Robinson starters young Worrall to return experience up north would have done him gud. Benaloune sorry for spelling not sure about he started really well, will be a hero for his goal against the shaggers but seems to be a bit erratic so would watch over him in pre season. Darikywa not the best out there but seems to do alright when called upon so a decent squad option. Dawson give a coaching role to and figs just injury prone so get rid although I thought he was decent when he played. Byram too much in wages so I'd add 3 4 defenders maybe and if there is a better keeper that wants to play for us maybe younger sign him up. If not the giant has kept 15 clean sheets and maybe the coaching staff can help him work on commanding his area better. For me get rid of most of the squad keep 15 or so players and start again, easier said than done but we have overpaid garbage that have been brought in by warburton and Montanier and now Karanka. Cannot expect any manager to put us at the next level with so many ex manager hang ups. Not asking for much but the dream of returning to the top has turned into one of the longest nightmares so much so I need counselling.

Did i read right,Dawson and Figs injury prone, yet Byram just too much in wages.

Dawson played a lot of games for Hull, and i do not remember Figs joining Forest with a reputation for being injury prone.

Byram is the very definition of injury prone, as well as needing to take a wage drop should be joint permanently.

I feel any player, no matter how talented should be given a long contract to make up any lost wages by joining us, that tells me they do not really want to join Forest.

Worrall would only be 5th choice for me, I wouldn’t say he shone in Scotland , i don’t think we’d want to be depending on him.

Getting a blood clot was just unlucky not confirmation of Figs being injury prone! Very few players go all season without getting injured!

He will get his chance but he isn’t good enough to start . Are you suggesting that being a local lad Gives you a right of passage to the staring 11, even if you’re not the best player for the job? I want to see the team win whenever possible, from what I’ve seen of Joe Worrall there are four players better than him, who give us a better chance of winning the game. Where they come from is completely meaningless to me , I’ll give any player my backing if they are in the team, I don’t get the preferential treatment thing if they are from Nottingham or support Forest.
