If I was Fawaz I would offer m o Neil whatever he wants, for me he would no overpay or allow players to over inflate themselves ( wages ) he would get them playing for the badge like he did under BC

This in my option is a certain to the premier within a suitable time frame

Look how well Ireland perform for him I think they will get further than England in the euros and they don't have anyone ( IMO) who is would class

I think he'd come to us in the right circumstances, Fawaz make this happen if you love the club half as much as you say you do.

That ship long since sailed, I'd love it too but can't see it ever happening.

England ain't got anybody who is " world class " either!

Agreed, the England team is full of over paid over hyped money grabbers who are all about promoting themselves and have little national pride. Strangely enough the Irish team play with more pride and passion even though a lot of them aren't actually Irish.

Too old, we do not need anymore ex players to manage us. Us and Leeds have tried virtually everyone that was available as an ex player, Frank Clark was the only one successful. We need to move forwards not backwards.

Anyone would take any job in the right circumstances. Fawaz's problem (or at least one of them) is that he can't deliver them: why would a decent manager with actual ambition to do well saddle himself a job where at least one of his hands was tied behind his back?

Because a manager has the opourtunity to kick Forest up the arse and become a success where many others have tried and failed.

Paul lambert went to Blackburn knowing they had and embargo with owners more bonkers than fawaz!

There is no way in the World Martin would work for this owner.

Up the Forest. Yes but in the paper the other day the owners of Blackburn are going to put £millions into the club in an effort to but themselves out of FFP, and I think that is one of the reasons they got Lambert! If successful we will be the only club under sanctions!

johnny,
you just don't understand FFP. The whole point is that the owners do not put money in to subsidise the club.
What do you think it means?

^ Not my strong suit, but presumably it's possible to put money into a club by buying an equity stake (although that's obviously not possible in circumstances where the person putting in the money already owns 100% of the business) .

No9 you are correct not your strong suit :-)
You answered your own question, how can you buy a share of something you already own?

Both blackburn and ourselves have owners that have loaned us the money, this is shown in the accounts in this way. We could do what derby did and Mr Fawsz writes the loan off. Therefore the accounts look better as we don't have the liability of a loan hanging over our heads.

@positivethinking: To be fair to myself, I don't know the full ins-and-outs of the ownership arrangements at Blackburn.
