Hi guys, just a question who thinks that now landsury is going to miss the next match that we coud or should drop fryatt into midfield and bring patterson back on the wing with antonio partnering assomolonga?

Vaughan not had enough minutes for full ninty minutes. Fryatt could play in midfield he has got quick feet, can pass and not scared to run t defenders and take a shot at goai. Patterson scares defenders when he runs at them. We could also change the formation quickly if it wasn't working from the start. Just my opinion.

It'd be interesting to see if it goes well, but it's a bit too risky if it went wrong, there would be a LOT of blame pointed. I'd like to see it in the 70th minute draw/losing situation though.

There would be a lot more creativity, and it would throw many teams off track. But our defense would have to be able to stand the counters as it's a very all out attack line.

Something needs to change though, we are dropping far too many points to teams that don't deserve them.

What about recalling Jamie from Reading. His energy and effort sometimes create openings in the opponents defence.

With lack of creativity our overriding issue it was evident early season we are much more effective when on the front foot, why not dispense with the holding midfielder. Go 4411 Burke Osbourn Patterson Antonio, Fryatt in behind Assombalonga. Antonio is more effective on the right side & Fryatt is still our best option with his back to goal.

I know he has a lot of haters but what about recalling Radi Majewski? On his day can create multiple chances, see a through ball and score himself. Just an option as we're a bit short on creativity at the moment.

It's just a pity that his day only happens once a season!!

Pearce is happy to put 'square pegs in round holes' in defence, playing players 'out of position'. So why can't we mix it up in midfield and attack? These all professional players and should be able to put a shift in wherever they asked to play. Maybe we have been a bit predictable the last few games. The dilemma is do we praise courage, take the game to Watford but lose or criticise caution, clean sheet and take a point?
Personally, I want to see an improvement in basics. Players winning their battles, making 50-50's 60-40 in our favour, anticipating the second ball, giving the player with the ball at least 2 options for a pass, tracking runners, closing down shots and leaders all over the pitch. Show me at least this (plus test their keeper with shots on target) and most football fans will accept most results.
Players of Nottingham Forest FC, if you want to be the best, you have to give your best and we'll always support you. COYR.

Don't agree with putting square pegs in round holes. It is the reason we have faded or failed to capitalise on good positions in the past. Glad to see Fox could be back as Lichaj is not a left back and Harding doesn't seem to be a regular starter.
