Couldnt make the game yesterday but noticed that the gate was 5000 down on the opening game. Considering the start we've made should the club look at this problem to see if we can get the ground as full as possible every game?

The gate was poor yesterday and gives the sheep more ammo to throw at us regarding attendances. So I think it would be a good idea to really get behind Fawaz, get more bodies through the gates at home matches and show him how much he is appreciated with regards to what he has done for the club.

{Ed034's Note - 22,000 forest fans on the last bank holiday this summer, isn't poor and why are you bother what the sheep think??
I think it's a decent crowd anytime, but a good one on this weekend

And how would you suggest they do this?drop match day prices?if so that would be un fair on season ticket holders. 22k is a good gate in the championship. not many clubs get more. don't forget it was an end of the month game and a bank holiday weekend that parents would of took there kids away. people always find things to moan about even when we are doing well, who cares what the gates are at we are top.

{Ed034's Note - here, here

Who cares about the dirty sheep! 2k of us out sang 31k of them and we shook the Ipoo stadium!!

4.) 24 Aug 2014
Wasnt thinking of annoying season ticket holders. More along the lines of schools and under priveldged kids. Maybe this way local kids would be less inclined to just support the likes of Manchester United etc

I don't think the guys moaning? He's just stating what the crowd was and that he thinks the club should look into ways to fill the ground every week.
it would be a good idea to drop some prices to entice new fans or to get fans who've drifted away back into the ground. Get em back spending money in the club shop and in the ground and then its up to the team and other fans to keep them coming back-if season ticket holders need a little bit of cash or a voucher to make sure they still get a good deal (or to stop them moaning?) I think its a fair deal. Who wouldn't want bigger crowds every week? when the away support is low put some cheaper tickets on some sort of offer and get a few more in, just as we do for kids for a quid. if its marketed that its to try and get fans to return would you moan or would you back it?

Cannock red, you are moaning about the poor attendance, but you couldn't make it yourself! Hmmm, good one! :-)

Lots of people aren't lucky enough to be able to go to every game either because of cash or where they live but from where I look at it, from Nottingham and surrounding areas (incl people like me ) the crowd should be over 23 k. I travel 100 + mlls for most home games but the city is massive, why can't we entice more into the ground? Cheap student tickets maybe? People used to slate derby and free tickets with phone contracts but to me over the long term that's a great contract.

I sit in the Trent end & usually guess the attendance, pretty closely. On Saturday it looked like a lot more than 22k!
Looked more like 24500!
Strange! Also it was a bank holiday weekend & poor support from a big town team not long out of the top flight.
