Fox has just signed so to me that would suggest he will be full time left back, can't see him wanting to sign to sit on the bench. harding is cover for fox and Cohen will cover if both injured. I really hope Cohen plays in midfield next season. halford backs up CB and rb. could do with a young loan player to cover just in case, loan fee. our midfield is untouchable only back up needed again a couple of younger quality players on loan. cohen will cover Vaughan. pacey winger is needed if abdoun leaves. then its a striker, we all no who we want but in my eyes they aren't realistic as if they leave there current club it will be for a perm team, Rhodes and McCormack.

We only need half a dozen players max your list is very unrealistic to say the least both in terms of value, salary and will of players to take a drop in league. I'd stay off FIFA and champ manager.

I think we need 5 or 6. We have Cohen and Fox for left back. Two of Wilson, Hobbs, Lascelles or Halford in the middle. Could maybe add another right back like Callum Patterson as cover for Lichaj. In the middle if we are playing with three we already have the first choice in Vaughan, Reid and Lansbury. I think adding Craig Gardner to that mix or Graham Dorrans would top us up as well as having Osborn. We could use another winger but Mackie and Paterson for me are first choice, Abdoun should go. Up front is where we are lacking. The only one I would keep is Cox and give Demetriou a game or two. If we could find a way of getting Wickham that would be good. Otherwise I would like Deeney and McCormack.

We are in a mess because we have constantly chopped and changed the manager, twenty manager in twenty one seasons.
We are in a mess because we have spent millions of pounds on poor to average players.
This instability has never allowed us to build and money is not the answer, Sean Dyche only spent £450,000. 00.
Along with poor planning, poor marketing and generally shambolic running of the club off the field, to add to our woes we are shackled with some of the most unrealistic, rose tinted set of fans a club wish for.
Can we have no more mention of "we all know who", references to the past, etc, etc. We need to concentrate on the present. In a nutshell consolidation, steady build, lower expectations and get behind the manager, players and chairman.
For once a united front. Also please let not resort to sniping at the other two clubs. We are bigger and better on every front.

NFFC - agree with majority of your post. I think Mackie needs an end product which he has shown isn't in his remit so I would sell him.
I know he works hard and fans love this but can't play 40+ games and only score 5 (Irrelevant if playing RW or CF IMO).
Only my opinion though. Rest of your post I agree with

Sad but true re Mackie, if he had a final product there is no way he would play for us. QPR sold him for a reason, we can all see that now. Will always be respected for his effort and attitude.
