A mate of mine is karl darlows dad and darlow wants to leave

1.) 12 Apr 2014
Good his heart isn't init either just like the rest of the players

2.) 12 Apr 2014
Fine by me, for 10 mills lol

3.) 12 Apr 2014
That's weird because I'm related to him and he loves playing with the lads at forest.

4.) 12 Apr 2014
Take it your not the op's mate then?

5.) 12 Apr 2014
Can't say his heart isn't in it. He's been conceding a lot of goals of late but that's down to the players not closing down. The defence is making his job a whole lot harder

6.) 12 Apr 2014
Don't think we will miss him at all. Not good enough in my opinion

7.) 12 Apr 2014
Really! Confidence is low throughout and our defence has been shocking. Karl's first full season and he has been excellent. Only 12 games ago we had only lost 4 and had one of the best defensive records in the league. Top premiership clubs will come calling in the summer, we will do well to keep him. If he leaves he'll be warming a bench or loaned straight back out.

8.) 12 Apr 2014
Think his head might have got turned a little along with lascelles in January with talk of a move. Performances have been poor of late by the whole team but earlier on in the season they were the 2 outstanding performers game after game. I suppose it doesn't help when confidence is low

9.) 12 Apr 2014
Darlow been one of the most consistent players all season. The post saying he's not good enough you either have not watched him for the last 12 months or you been drinking. You build from the back next year and his names first on the sheet.

{Ed034's Note - I fount it crazy too. The guy is in his first full season and has lots of top flight clubs interested in him.

10.) 12 Apr 2014
How the mighty fall. From challenging for an automatic place to just about the bottom half of the table since January. This lot are a complete shambles. No heart, no spirit, no idea, no right to wear the shirt.
Hurry up and get here Psycho we need a clear out at the end of the season. No way can some of the present squad retain their place for next season.
If they do then season tickets will fall.

11.) 12 Apr 2014
12 Apr 2014 17:35:38
he is the best player for forest by far its the defense iv any goalkeeper even the best in the world had bad defense then they will keep picking the ball out the net I hope he stays then psycho sorts the defense out so we can sow why it took a few games to just concede a goal this season

12.) 12 Apr 2014
Too many Xbox fans on this site.
Darlow is top drawer but its a team game!

13.) 12 Apr 2014
He is quality but does have a weakness low to his right, look at the goals conceded this year and you will see. We could do with keeping him but he's no irrecplaceble

14.) 12 Apr 2014
He can go. You can tell his mind is on a big move.

15.) 12 Apr 2014
Come on, get real!
Have you seen how Forest are defending these days? No goalie would look great with that poor rack of players in front of him!
The biggest problem is the lack of quality players after all the injuries and that there are no heart and soul, no pride in wearing the beautiful red shirt!
Forest Dane

16.) 12 Apr 2014
If you can get 10M for him, and 10M for Laselles I would sell both. 20M at this level is not to be scoffed at. Before any one seats we need them for the future, we are along way away from The Premership at the moment, this money will help withh FFP and support SP to buy.

{Ed034's Note - no chance of those figures.

17.) 12 Apr 2014
Totally agree Ed, if someone offered us £10m for Darlow and Lascelles we should snap their hand off.

Before any "Champ Manager" crew start, let's calm it down. Two youngsters with great potential, but untried and not currently showing world beating consistency. Very much lacking in experience. Why would a Prem team offer big bucks for such a risk?

A Block Kev

18.) 12 Apr 2014
Struggling again on some of these posts on Darlow. The lads first class for a young keeper. The post he's got a weakness to his right is a joke. The only weakness to his right has been his right back. This lad has the lot, he's still learning his trade but he will be if he continues at this rate one of the best English keepers in the game. He's not irreplaceable no player is but when you have found quality you don't want to lose it.

19.) 12 Apr 2014
16M for the pair would be good. What's the price, 20M was being quoted earliest in the season ( by their agents) got them selfs new big boy contracts from Fawaz. Get shot if teams want them. Patterson I would never sell by the way, he is good, not just thinks he's good.

20.) 12 Apr 2014
There is a saying in football

"Your keeper is only good as your defence"

And our defence is pants without Cohen and Hobbs in it

Since Hobbs has been injured we have conceded 31 goals in 13 games with only 1 clean sheet

Proves what a vital player Hobbs is

21.) 12 Apr 2014
10 million for the pair. Would you take it?

22.) 12 Apr 2014
Are you guys serious. I hate "fans" who are like this. the same fans singing BD praises were the same asking for his sacking matter of weeks later.
the same fans bigging us up for automatic promotion are the same ones saying well be lucky if we make top half. now the same people who were saying how amazing darlow is are now saying let his go he's rubbish. get a grip and make your mind up

23.) 12 Apr 2014
If the Reds do sell Darlow and Lascelles, I hope they do more with the money than they did after selling Reid and Dawson.
But as we are nearing what has been a disastrous end to what could have been a good season I hope we can hang on to our good young players. I don't want us to be a club who continually sells of its future.
Sell the dead wood instead. because we have enough to grow make a Forest.

24.) 12 Apr 2014
If you look at the defence today, biggest problem was defensive midfield, counter attacks from QPR were too easy for them, just waltzed through us, players seem under pressure to push forward and then leave massive gaps. Halford struggled today, and it seemed like nobody wanted to tackle. It's a shame how it's panned out, but you can't expect to win if the basics aren't there. I hope it all settles down in summer and we can go again with a more steady ship.

25.) 13 Apr 2014
I would sell Darlow for a good striker. Other than that he stays.

26.) 13 Apr 2014
I don't think he is good enough for the prem yet so don't know who he will go to. makes to many mistakes with decision making and coming off his line, but a great shot stopper

27.) 13 Apr 2014
We all want to leave after today but I feel sure that Darlow is a red like me so is tied for life -well in his case a season or two more at least. Leave him alone with your not good enough rubbish. The line in front of him isn't good enough.

28.) 13 Apr 2014
If darlow wants to leave let's cash in on him I heard that the young Bulgarian goalkeeper is ment to be amazing. What do you think ed?

{Ed034's Note - if he wants to leave, then sell to the highest bidder.

29.) 13 Apr 2014
Do not sell darlow, build from the back, sell the deadwood and free up the wages, get rid of harding, halford, majewski, tudgay, miller, henderson, cox, moussi and replace with vaughan and a decent striker.

{Ed034's Note - and if he hands in a transfer and we get offered big money???

30.) 13 Apr 2014
Not happy with his performances doesn't command his area doesn't come off his line puts defence under pressure let him go

31.) 13 Apr 2014
Fed up of trying to fit square pegs in round holes just so we can play this 4 2 3 1 formation it doesn't work we don't have the holding midfielders to do it or a striker who is that good to score a hatful if goals and bring other players into the game

32.) 13 Apr 2014
Can't see Darlow leaving.

Pearce will want to build from he back and Darlow is the best we have (Devrise looked very shaky against Sheffield Utd) right now.

His confidence has been knocked by the poor quality defending in front of him. Look at how often he now passes out from the back versus just hoofing it up the pitch compared to the start of the season.

Come next season I see him still being ou first choice in goal

33.) 13 Apr 2014
You couldn't blame Darlow for wanting out; he's a gifted, developing player who's already catching people's eye at a high level and he's currently backstopping an unmotivated, low-achieving team against a highly chaotic club backdrop and any serious knock to his confidence could easily stall his ongoing development. Some at Forest (I suspect mainly parts of the fan base rather than the team) may draw hope and inspiration from the changes coming in in the summer but you could forgive younger players for not having especially high hopes for their future at the club.

34.) 13 Apr 2014
Good, he looked a second rate keeper on Saturday! we need a more experienced keeper, who can sort defence out as well.

35.) 13 Apr 2014
Jeez - nothing wrong with Darlow. Our midfield and defence have been weak for some time due to masses of injuries. Esp at full back and Def Mid. This is why we lose. Darlow can't help the majority of what's been happening

And if Darlow did hand a request and we get offered silly money. Say NO. Worked for Liverpool.

36.) 13 Apr 2014
That's funny, because I'm sure if he wanted to leave he could have left in January when Spurs offered £4m?

37.) 13 Apr 2014
I think should keep Darlow, he is a potential top goalie, he is young and will make mistake (even Hart does) however I feel with Lascelles too much inexperience in the heart of the defence is causing problems. I rather Lascelles goes out on loan to some one like Doncaster/Charlton for a season to give him more experience. Yesterday proved we have no leaders in the team that will drive them on. I'm sure Darlow would love to play in Premiership but I think he is also realistic that not going to be number 1 keep for the teams linked with him and will either be on bench or sent out on loan which is no good for a keeper.

38.) 13 Apr 2014
I don't believe either Fawaz or Psycho will want to part with any of the promising young players. They are our future. Fawaz doesn't need to sell to raise funds for new players.
It's the poor players, I fear they will have a job unloading.

39.) 13 Apr 2014
Absolute pub team defendining halford just backed off letting hoilett beat him and get crosses in wilson seemed reluctant to tackle hard and was far from the defender we know fox caught out of position time after time we could of been 4 down in first half

40.) 13 Apr 2014
Both Darlow and Lacelles are definitely destined for greater things but to firstly assume they are worth millions is pure lunacy at best they are collectively worth only around 5million plus future addons for the pair. It has been evident during this awful run that both are miles from the finished article, both player have shown inexperience in bucket loads and both I feel would benefit greatly from a season of further coaching under the new coaching set up and then if SP does as well as we all desperately hope then they
can ply their trade at the top level a year from now

{Ed034's Note - we've turned a bid of around £4m for Darlow down already, so you are saying lascelles is worth £1m

41.) 13 Apr 2014
Both Darlow and lascelles are very naive and inexperienced. As soon as other clubs were mentioned being interested, their form dipped. Lascelles was tweeting about how much he was worth. Regardless of what he thought he was worth, he needs to learn to keep his mouth shut because, since Hobbs stopped holding his hand, he's looked totally lost! Glad there's only a few games left because the way he's been going he'll be worth a fiver if his form continues! Both need to lose the ego and prove their real worth and not just their potential!

42.) 13 Apr 2014
I think that the past two months are a learning curve for the players and the owner just how fine the margins are in football, I hope the young players go on to gain the experience here at Forest, I don't think there is loads wrong, bit of confidence building, settled team would help. Injury list this year was impossible for any manager, but that is how it is. I hope Pearce gets the targets he wants, I think next season or the one after will see us go up, we just have to have patience and enthusiasm as fans

43.) 14 Apr 2014
14 Apr 2014 10:06:39
He's a young lad with a lot of potential which he has shown numerous times this season. If your defence and midfield have more holes than a proverbial sieve it matters not how well you command your area as there is no one there to command (as seen numerous times in the last 13 games). Give him a break he is learning and am sure that he will be a quality keeper maybe world class in the right environment - as mentioned above a lot of dead wood in front of Darlow once he has a defence we can see how good he really is and then we can critique his abilities then. On another note Dimi Evtimov is another quality shot stopper but with the same clowns in front of him would not have saved forest from the dismal run of results.

{Ed034's Note - it is also his first season and I think people are forgetting that. his has had the odd average game but for the season as a whole, he has been fantastic and will only get better

44.) 14 Apr 2014
It is time to give Darlow a rest. After the result on Saturday and the number of goals that have been conceded it was only a matter of time before questions of darlows ability were going to arise. His confidence must be on the floor at the moment.

45.) 14 Apr 2014
No wonder he is losing confidence with all these whingers going on about him losing it! He is young and inexperienced but up to a few games ago he hardly put a foot ( or hand) wrong. He's generally been brilliant since he stepped into Camp's boots last season so stop being so negative and tell him we appreciate him and want him to stay!

46.) 14 Apr 2014
Willow says he would sell Darlow to get a striker. Where's he going to play him? In goal.

47.) 14 Apr 2014
Anyone see that first save on Sat? It wasn't his fault Danny Fox was having a nap and didn't follow up.

48.) 14 Apr 2014
Darlow looks good with Hobbs infront of him.

Every keeper needs to have confidence in his defenders!

Both Darlow and Lascelles a blossom with Hobbs.

49.) 14 Apr 2014
Darlow has made a lot of mistakes recently, and confidence works both ways. If the defenders aren't confident in the keeper they will drop deeper. We've played half the year with 2 defensive midfielders for goodness sake, and he's still shipping them. Lascelles has been poor recently too, but they are both young enough to come back next year better players. There is no chance any team, premier or not, would risk a seven figure sum on either player at the moment, so it's not going to be a problem holding on to them. Lansbury is a different matter altogether.

50.) 15 Apr 2014
It's all going to be fine. We can put the ever versatile Halford between the sticks where no-one would ever expect him to make a tackle.

51.) 15 Apr 2014
15 Apr 2014 11:56:21
Yes the only problem with Halford in goal would be he wouldn't find a Forest player when he passed it out.
