Forest have a track record of picking the nearly man as manager a long string of failures since Sir Brian prove this fact. However whether Sp is a hero or not, whether tactically inept or not, are we all not losing sight of the fact that there are 11 players on the pitch being paid a shed load of money to perform like a saturday pub team? The side has no width, one out and out striker up front and a midfield devoid of any creativity. Assombolonga and Fryatt are without doubt quality strikers and have shown it on the rare occassions they get a quality ball through - their inability to score is created by having to retreat to the edge of their own 18 yard box to collect the ball. It is also this lacklustre midfield that lose the ball and don't get back to rectify the situation often leaving the back four exposed and under more pressure than necessary. Yes we have been unfortunate with the injuries to Cohen and Reidy but there are players who are equally as talented just do not have the passion or pride to represent the great club forest is. Bear with psycho let's get onto the real culprits of our teams demise the £1.5 million pound plus wage bill that ponce around the pitch like a load of fairies.

Hi Ed the truth I was pertaining to was that he wants away. I agree that SP must see him as an invaluable asset and would not want him to rot in the reserves - hence careful wording 'some truth'. I didn't think I would get away with putting some truth and a load of 'rubbish!'
{Ed034's Note - I believe he wants to play in the prem and has made his feelings clear. It is now down to two things. One if a club matches or comes close to the valuation. Two if Pearce can persuade him to sign a new contract. Whichever comes first

Have heard that Lansbury has been looking for houses in Burnley area so maybe some truth to the rumours. Real shame if he does go as one of our outstanding players last season, but you can't knock him for wanting the opportunity to play prem football. let's hope we can get a quality replacement for him if he does go.

Gazza Red - his immediate family live in Loughborough which I believe is in Leicestershire. But in any case he is training again so obviously not dead and buried yet. Quality player. I do agree with Wilson though we won't see more than 90 minutes out of him this season.

Indeed Dimi is Bulgarian. As for Watford Gap he was helping his old mate McGugan find his way back from Burger King at the services there. Maybe Gary Brazil has relatives down south and was visiting them.

Apparently he actually passed a ball to his own team mate and then to make matters worse he actually managed to put the ball in the net rather than 30 rows back - both things apparently the FA need to look into as it is so unusual. I personally think its because he did both things in the same match raising concerns we used a footballer instead of Halford.
