Jackson Irvine plays for the Socceroos (what we call the National team down-under).

When the Socceroos recently played Chile the commentator said he was likely to move to Forest.

He was Albion player of the year last season.

He is a gangly midfielder 6ft 2. He is a ball winner who gets about. He can score goals. Not the tidiest play and gives away free kicks at International level but gets in a good Aussie national team.

Be good to get him as he will put pressure on the ball further up the pitch.

Is it a tall story what the commentator is supposed to have said.

was a great player at burton last season and can't see him staying there knowing that they are very likely to be relegated and with interest from other championship clubs.

Would love it if we signed him. Apparently has a 1.5 million release clause.

I'd pay 1.5 mil for him. Would be a good player and would add energy. Sign him along with this Greek lad and our midfield is set. Just a defender or two needed.

Perhaps if we offered Clough our youngsters on Loan instead of giving them to those deadbeats over the river he'd accept selling his gems to us? Win / win in my book. Every time we lend County our players we help them survive another year in the football league which can't be right. For sure without Grants goals last season they'd have gone down. 😡😡😡.

There's only one County we all want to see go down and it ain't Notts!

It is not a "tall story what the commentator is supposed to have said". I was watching the game and being a Forest fan noted it. He didn't even say "linked with", he said "is likely to be moving to". I have a recording of the game!

Also he is extremely fit, The Socceroos compete against topsides by working hard and putting pressure on the ball. He stands out in a hard working team. Can run for 90 minutes, never stops.

Dives in a bit, if he could settle-down could be like Vierra.
