He might be a little behind the other guys fitness wise having only played 30mins so far this season but i am sure he will soon catch up. Only 28 and with plenty of football still left in him, this looks like good business.

Just been into Hull shopping today as I live near by and went into St. Stephens (a shopping centre) and I saw Micheal Hector and Ola Aina together in there, they had a few people go up to them so I went up to them too. I asked Hector if there was genuine interest from Forest in him and told him I support Forest. To that he replied 'Forest made an enquiry to Chelsea about taking me on loan but also that quite a few championship clubs wanted him on loan. He said he chose Hull over other teams because he said they were the team he thought were most likely to get promoted but said Forest have a good squad and if they can add a couple of quality players between now and end of month we'll have a team capable of challenging for top 6.
He was such a down to earth guy. Him and Aina both willing to talk to fans and sign things etc. It's nice to see that!

The story goes Hull are more likely to get promoted, but if Forest get a couple of quality players Forest could challenge for the top six, no mention of money. He is a Chelsea player so although it is good to win games why does he care who is more likely to get promoted, especially if he thinks Forest are capable of getting into the top six, it is not as if it a choice between a promotion and Relegation fight in his eyes, if you believe the story. Perhaps he feels he would not count as a quality player ☺.

GK to sign within next 3 days expect Federici to sign.
CB will be signed by end of window, MW doesn't rate Lam so wants him gone along with Serb, Lica and a few others out on loan, and feels signing a CB will allow him to use Mancienne at CDM when needed. Mills, Hobbs, Worral, Mance and new CB. I've mentioned Hanley before and he'd be my choice. But according to rumours Flint could be Forest's man.

Well after the past 2 games it's clear we need 2 quality players that are leaders. CB and CDM/ CM. MW probably doesn't know his best side and is giving everyone a fair crack of the whip atm but we need to be able to field a consistent team as that was our downfall last year.

In conditions like tonight it was difficult to draw any conclusions about anyone, but i thought Hobbs played well and Cummings was my MOM, looks a real asset.

I agree that the conditions weren't at all great but there are still some defensive issues, we didn't close the ball down well enough, gave them at times too much time and space to play football and a few individual mistakes. We weren't great in possession at times but that will be more down to the conditions rather than the actual players but even against Millwall possession wasn't great.
Carayol and Cummings were very good tonight. And we created a few good chances.

For me the players that must start from what I have seen so far are: Cummings, Carayol, Vaughan, McKay, Darikwa, Clough, Mancienne, Dowell, Worrall.

I think lichaj is aweful at lb. Not natural for him. We need to sign a decent young lb. Traore will play if fit but warbo won't play him every game due to his injury record. If you play players out of position at the back they will get found out at this level.

From the look of the team we just need strength and a presence at the back. I'd have Mancienne as an anchorman and get a commanding CB in. The only problem is that EVERYONE wants a commanding centre back.

I tell you what Reds fans after the first 4 league games this season is looking promising, we're playing good football, scoring goals. Yes we're not great defensively but the signing of Bridcutt will help to reduce the goals conceded column. Another CB would be nice but I can't see it myself. Just hoping our luck turns this season with regards to injuries. I think we have a solid first 11 when all fit + bench which is more than capable of competing with every team in the division! COME ON YOU REDS!

Agree with that redlad - squad is pretty good and a nice mix. I don't think we'll get another cb especially as the one most want to replace is our captain, bridcutt willl be a smart move if it comes off.
Play offs? Who knows, but we are moving in the right direction so it's all good for me.

Play offs is a possibility, I hope we can push for play offs because that would be some turn around. But I'd still be very happy finishing top half of table. Marinakis has allowed the footballing people to get on and do their jobs properly without interfering, has made funds available and has thruroughly thought about the appointments he's made. Onwards and upwards under Marinakis.

If these Ben Watson links are true then we'll be signing a good player who is defensive minded and isn't scared of a good tackle. I'd never thought about this guy before the links but could good be a good player! Then just sign Hanley and we'll do well this season

Back our two opening league wins with something against Boro and I'll be a happy chappy. Great start to the season offensively now let's sign a solid CB and we'll have a very good season and could well be pushing for the play offs.

Quality CB and CDM/ CM required these players must be leaders and organisers otherwise we'll be in trouble against the more physical teams. CB why not go for Hanley at Newcastle, tall, strong and a leader! Plus has championship experience. For CM/ CDM we should sign Ledley if he is available at all, again he's a leader, plenty of experience in PL as well as Championship. If we can't get him then I'd go for luongo maybe to that much of a leader but he's a very good player imo.
