Lots of rumours doing the rounds on social media regarding a 'good news' announcement after today's match. Personally I will see it to believe it after recent events. Don't like to be sceptical but who can blame us!!! Has anyone else heard anything about this? COYR

Trying to think what the good news might be. Maybe a change of heart by Faulkner. that would be good news!

5.) 07 Feb 2015
Stuart Pearce has agreed a deal with fawaz to return as an advisor at the city ground, great news if true

I mean this in the nicest possible way Marco!

You are such a day dreamer.

Dreams are what makes sport, I must admit I drifted off while walking the dog wishing that Pearce was still here and we had just won four on the spin! Could have happened, ought to have happened wish it had happened, it didn't happen though Pal and it's time to move on. Pearce leading us to promotion was sadly just a dream.

Don't want Pearce any where near the running of the club 😞

Boilerman, take the performances on the pitch aside and Pearce was the best thing to happen to our club for a long time. He put so many things right at the club. Why on earth would u not want him behind the scenes. Pretty poor comment from u I'm afraid

You're point is a fair one boilerman but you have to remember he is revered by many and rightly so.

In the fullness of time it will transpire giving him the role was wrong, I understand why we did it and quite honestly I think it had a 50!50 chance of working.

Whatever we think we should now all move on. You'll never change what's been and gone.

Marco just likes to see pearce in charge, even if they never win a game. he,d follow forest down to the conference leauge and below.as long as pearce is manager.

Whenever a chance comes along to slag off Pearce the same posters can not resist getting in on the action. Give it a rest now. Boring!

Half of these posters who slag off Pearce are focused on the now not the future. The changes that Pearce forced Fawaz to make will help the long term of this club. However too many people care about THIS season. If we went up we'd probably come straight back down. I think it would be better to go up next season and have a chance of staying there.

Please don't include me in that, Pearce is my absolute hero and always will be. But if we'd have continued as we were the bottom three was realistic. It didn't work - not sure why, luck and timing have played their part as they do in all walks of life.

Pearce is a legend always will be.

I love Pearce as much as the next forest fan but there is pattern with his managent of great starts followed by a lot of loses I just as soon as his style was worked out by other teams he has no reply or ability to change things and cope with it I'm aftaid
