We need a tried, tested and previously successful championship manager. Not Petrescu, not Sherwood, Warnock fits the bill but will be controversial and cause problems down the line. Who else is there? Billy has too much baggage/history, Nigel Clough not successful, Martin O'Neil anyone??

Please not Pet rescue. he was sacked (twice in 2014) by Dynamo Moscow and Al-Arabi for a reason. Not sure if anyone would want to come to us really but if he did I'd like to see Tim Sherwood for 6 months?

Whilst on here as well I've been watching him for the last few games even when he's off the ball and i'm sorry to say but i don't think Assombolonga was worth the money we paid him. Very very lazy on Sat against Milwall.

Pierre van Morgan, petrescu never managed in England. Think your getting him and di matteo mixed up mate. I'd go for McDermott. Got experience, did well at reading and will probably have a point to prove to cellino at leeds.

Dont think we can afford an O neill. Were not good enough to attract these tried n tested managers people say they want. I think we all have to accept that the appointment will be someone with something to prove at this level
