Daily Flail saying and this also on Beeb that Fawaz is sounding out the players commitment to Pearce, surely that can't be the case,no owner would do that and let it leak to the press, that is not a good way to attract a new manager or instill confidence in current manager 😞

This is Fawaz we're talking about!
Anything is possible. Love the bloke to bits for saving us.
But some of his actions are that of a carry on sketch!
Having his Mum wheeled around the stadium in a wheel chair.
Bringing the entire Kuwait team over to Nottingham and telling them they're on trial.
Or even just not bothering to pay for tickets to the dirty sheep!
Well actually that last one I think we'd all of done!

No but boilerman it fits the pattern of players not wanting to perform and undermining SP because they don't like his methods or ideas? So Fawaz wants to know who feels what so he can support SP?

This does indeed smack of the calamitous approach to running a club apparently favoured by FAH. These are not conditions that would be tolerated by your average manager and, whatever SPs shortcomings as a coach, the club will pay a high price if he leaves against this kind of backdrop.

In a similar situation myself. The "manager" has disconnected. Can you learn anything by asking other members of the team.

This may not result in the dismissal of SP but provide so. e feedback he may not have asked for.

All MDs 360 feedback their directors and share what their managers say. Is this any different. It is how civilised companies work. Employee engagement surveys. Provided it is channelled back to SP in the right way. Good thinking.

Absolutely agree Luke it is common place in any professionally run company.

Sounds like left wing public sector corporate garbage to me but that's probably because I'm self employed ;)

7.) 08 Jan 2015
Definitely not left wing public sector - very much common practice in professionally run private sector businesses. Very effective when done in the correct manner.

It happened at our work today, the bosses pa came round asking us all how we are and what we think of the place and how it's working and do we feel like anything needs changing. obviously all the info and feedback was for him but they did it second hand. would it really be a bad thing?he would then find out who has a problem with Pearce and who doesn't. wasnt there a rumour about mackie being a bad egg last year?the split between Lansbury and Reid (although that wasn't footy related). abdoun and djebour not a happy bunch really. lol.
Or do the players not like Pearce being the main man, the one that the fans shout for rather than them?personally that should help them and take pressure of them a little bit. we don't work at the club so it's all speculation.

The "correct manner" would not usually involve reports in the press. It sounds to me like it's either the owner or his representatives making a ham-fisted show of how proactive and on-the-ball they are or it's been leaked by a disgruntled player. Can anyone recall reports of similar activity coming out of a football club? I'm pretty sure SP wouldn't have been okay with details of this sort of exercise finding their way into the papers.

My boss and his nurse walked around today,he said you have all done very well 😊

What did your nurse say, boilerman?
