It looks like Lansburys next through exit door nixon saying Burnley and Lansbury now at a serious stage. what on earth is going on.

This morning I laughed at the Darlow Lascelles rumour, tomorrow I expect Lansbury to go. The consensus was to wait for what Pearce had to say about why he agreed to this deal, but he will be damned by his honesty tonight.

Let's not forget the players concerned also have to be in agreement.
I'll be gutted if Lansbury goes to Burnley as he apparently wanted to move back to London.

We've bought in some high quality replacement talent and more to come. The club is losing £10m a year. FFP is a reality and the Chairman isn't a bottomless pit. I for one am still hugely optimistic for the coming season.

There's a very good chance Pearce is next if the powers to be keep on selling are best players, what on earth is going on at the club, was looking forward to good season going for promotion, that seems to be getting further away each day as players or going out the door with out Pearce's approval

This is a massive kick in the teeth for fans, we have been sold down the river by lies and promises made by the owner. Can only see this going one way and it is not going to be a good way. SP is as honest as they come and is having the rug pulled from under his feet

I agree SP should over bin told about JL and KD being sold that was wrong.We've got defenders to step up,I would be sad to see Lansbury go he is our midfield engine.A week ago when we was getting all these players in people was buzzing,now sqeeky bum time selling our best young players.What ever happens I'm Forest Till I Die

I could live with Darlow and Lascelles but Lansbury will take the heart out of the team!

You can't sell you best player and best young prospects and bring in division one players and players that can't get in their original sides? No prolific striker either?

After the backlash of yesterday do you think fawaz will let lansbury go cheap?I don't and Pearce will be having a very strong word with him this morning. if lansbury was to go I fear the backlash will be more than what fawaz can take.

I get the impression that financially all is not well at the CG. Bit miffed already with the news of the 2 young lads going. If Lansbury goes then so does the sides heartbeat. I would normally say I would be gobsmacked if this would happen however nothing would surprise me now. Any takers for Reidy?

The chairman is not a bottomless pit, we are losing 10 million a season and ffp is here, it's not good that Darlow, lascelles and maybe lansbury are sold but money needs to be made somewhere. I feel the lack of a CEO and no sponsor money as not helped, I think fawaz desperately needs help behind the scenes, also the proposed sponsorship money is not all what it seems

Lets look at the facts. Lansbury doesn't want to go to Burnley and they haven't offered enough.

I can't see him leaving.

More worrying is it looks like the sponsorship deal is off.

Apparently they are going to put 5million in and with what happened yesterday we will probably accept, all this makes the club seem weak especially when the day before the managers says we ain't a selling club lol. That said though the players sdo have a say in this and maybe they did not fancy heading south and preferred Newcastle, end of the day if a player wants to leave they got to go to protect the rest of the squad but we still should have for more.

Think we are getting into a panic a bit too early we still have JL and KD's services all season, if Hobbs and MM both fit can't see JL getting a game.
Selling Landsbury would be a loss but you can't blame him for also wanting PL football, if you get offered more money in any job you would be a fool not to take it don't forget footballers will always go where the money is not because they like the club or fans

Does the chairman really have any money pit at all? Why leave it to the last week before season kick off then sell your 3 most promising stars for pittance (in the grand scheme of things) this is a joke. I feel for SP and all us fans

In my opinion if we can make profit we should. It's not fair of us to expect Fawaz to keep putting his money in. If this was any other team in the championship selling 3 players for a somewhere around £18m is a good deal, why are we complaining?

Yes it would have been better to do this earlier but as we get closer to the season prices go up. I for one love Lansbury he's by far my fave player but if he gets to go to the prem and we make a nice profit that's surely good for both parties? We have a good team still - I'm sure some of this money will go into our midfield which did look a little weak on Saturday. If we don't go up Fawaz only has himself to blame, if we do I can guarantee people won't care about us selling these players.

We have to remember, that agents with players consent push these things through too, and we don't know about the deal, sell on fee's and how the fee's will increase. Newcastle will pay their ages this season too? Who knows.

With Hobbs, Michael, Wilson, Collins (?) and youngsters Riera and the smoggy lad, I'm not fussed about Lacelles. Other defenders can do a good job.

Darlow is a big loss, but he has a lot to learn and has loads of potential, so we would be selling the potential. He will warm the bench at Newcastle.

Leicesterturned down £5million for Kasper Schmeichael last year. Proven for years. only strikers seems to raise big £££ in championship

Ben Osborn is like a new free singing too!

SP has said we've turned down offer from Burnley and will offer Henri a new deal. I think the ball is now in Henri's court if he wants to leave I expect next offer will be accepted if not he will sign new deal.

It is about business and one would expect there to be up and coming talent through the academy etc. However it does feel like reading Frank 's books - 'What A Mess'. We will see how we perform against Blackpool and following matches up until Christmas.

We seem more worried about FFP than actually getting promoted considering promotion is allegedly worth 120 million+ and punishment for breach is a fine still. Points deductions aren't threatened yet are they? I know it's Mr Alhasawi's money but I think he is too honest, seems to fear the rules more than our rivals do.

Embargo for January only? and fine comes from club or chairman cause if we get fined on clubs books we never would beat FFP the following year so might as well go mental in next summer window.
