For once I really enjoyed watching us on TV yesterday. Hats off to Gary Brazil. He obviously knows a lot about the game, oozes confidence when he speaks and, crucially, believes in the younger players. I think the fans and the players can thank him for saving the season (or at least putting a smile back on our faces).

Yes it was great to watch us play football like we know we can, with confidence. I just watched the highlights again and Derbyshire first goal was a good finish but his second shows how confident he is at the moment to take it round the keeper and finish on his left. That corner we took short and fooled the Leeds defence is something we've obviously tried on the training ground but it's another thing to pull it off in a match. Small things maybe but progress, that's all we can ask for, just have a go. I'm looking forward to the next game, whatever happens in our next 2 games as long as we've had a go with a bit of honesty and pride in our football, it'll be a great way to show some unity in our team before SP comes in. Well done Brazil, having the balls to mix it up. COYR!

Can we have any thoughts from all the people, that wanted Billy back on why he played Cox all the time and ignored Derbyshire. Let me start it off. He hadn't got a clue. More interested in his ego

BD speaking in 3rd person again lol

He obviously liked playing with cox!

BD not all together good or bad.
he has definitate positives which include getting the best out of certain players and building siege mentality and total loyalty within his circle but his record in bringing through young talent and showing interest in the academy is I think his greatest weakness. Saw Mclaughlin play early season in a game at Sheff utd and he looked really classy and a real threat but would I think have been released if BD was here. also playing Halford up front with4 /5 forwards on loan or benched was just stubborn and gave them zero confidence

To be fair gary brazil has nothing to lose by playing the young lads, when billy davis was in charge their was so much pressure on him to get it right which for the first part of the season he did, then we got all the injuries & things went wrong & it looks like it all got too much for him, then in comes gary brazil to try & turn it around which to be fair we are now playing some good football & he has given a few lads their chance to show what they can do & they have not let him down, cox should have been dropped weeks ago but billy had faith in him, but if brazil got it wrong with the young lads we all would just say well the team is down & no one is playing well so imo no pressure on him but its going to be intresting next season

Giving young players the chance seems to be the best way. It brings out the best in the youth, the experienced and even the so called mercenary players that some teams coming up to top flight football purchase. They are all there to battle it out for success, egos or whatever reason. More youth in the team I say bring on the Australian.
