3 Golden Rules to selecting a Forest Team from the current squad.
1. Never ever select Osborn Cash and Vaughan in same midfield as they are not strong enough and are too similar.
2. Make Clough our Main Man No10 Playmaker and select a team and formation around him. (Osborn can be his understudy in that role and fill in elsewhere) .
3.Never play Britt as a lone striker as he is useless with his back to goal.

Stick to the rules for a Happy Ending to the season!

Spot on on redixile but won't happen Osborn first name on team sheet end of
Gets away with it cus his energy levels are to be honest fab
But reality is he can't control the ball and has limited vision
But in the modern game if you run all game the managers love it and you can't fault his commitment that's why the only position I could ever find for him would be left wing
Clough has only been here few games and in that time has only started three one in a false position
Scored three and few assit's
Osborn has played non stop for three seasons and hasn't got to double figures over that period says it all.
Bottom line is he will play every game till end of season wether we like it or not
Let's just hope it's on left wing and he concentrates on it and becomes a quality player . Got the energy just get the skill factor right
Looking forward to going to Burton on Saturday just hope Brazil gets team selection right
Clogher Brereton got to start and I'd put assombolonga with em
Chances are he'll go negative one man up front but at least well have Cohen in side that's massive cus he's a leader no one out there last night could be called that.

Redinexile couldn't agree more with both your comments about Brentfords advantage with constant team selection and your golden rules. I'd add that Clough and Osbourne are attacking midfielders and its either or with those two. It's early days but Clough looks to have more creativity, goal scoring aptitude and is a set piece specialist much like Andy Reid and I can't praise him higher than that. Likewise Carayol/ Ward on the left, Peirreira/ Arikiwi right, Hobbes/ Worrall both slow but good the air, Fox/ Mancienne faster but not so aerially dominant.
