Paul Tierney has apologised to Forest after the game and admitted that he got the drop ball decision totally wrong as it was outside the area it should have been an uncontested drop ball to us he returned the ball to their GK which he only should have done if the ball was inside the area when he blew for the so called head injury to Konate

Apology all well and good but doesn't change our pts position

Decision made even worse as they then went up field and scored 2 minutes later! ???.

If Tierney had followed the law of the game the ball would have been with Forest at the Liverpool end and not freely lofted into the Forest area. And faking a head injury to stop the game puts you on a par with Man Utd.
