If what I'm hearing is true I think it would be a grave mistake to sell Mangela, unless it's in the unlikely event we have someone else better than him lined up. Mangela is THE specialist defensive midfielder in the squad. The nearest we have is probably Kouyate, in the twilight of his career. The rest of our midfield are either attacking ( Dominquez, MGW, Elanga, CHO) or box to box (Yatesy, Danillo, Sanghere). Ok, they can all put a foot in if needed but we will always need a specialist in the DM role and Mangala has been excellent.

If he goes I would not think it will be massive miss as if we are playing the 4231 formation sanghere and yates can play there and that role is more suited to sanghere he played there a lot for PSV and scored goals from that position.
People are only saying what a massive miss it will be as he playing well at the moment but I remember last season people calling him useless and we have wasted our money buying him.

Sangare was bought as our worldie defensive midfielder but had disappointed so far

Mangala has looked class and has to be worth 25m plus any less no sale imo.

Sangare has had health issues and an injury. We've barely seen him fully fit since the first few games. It's surprising how much he has played.

Boy could we do with Felipe being fit right now. If Worrall or Murillo get injured, what gives?
