I know there hasn't been a lot said on here about the women's world cup, and tbh i understand why. Don't get me wrong i will be rooting for the lionesses. But wow how these women had the cheek to ask for the same money as men i will never know. It's been pretty dull appalling football the few games I've watched. Skill factor yawn, fitness levels yawn, working as a team yawn. I know I'm going to have a few having a pop here but cmon. It's just embarrassing most of it. Why Gibraltar didn't get a few misfits together i don't know. Plenty of bars on the island.

That's why I don't watch it, Bowie. The standard of the women is painful to watch at times. Nothing in the way of competition. Other year England were beating teams 21-0, 17-1, 14-0. That is not competitive. Terrible standard. Most of the women players aren't worth minimum wage.

I've only watched a handful of games so far and they have been pretty good to be fair.

England were so lucky to get through against a really strong and difficult Nigeria. But the pens from both Daly and Kelly were absolutely cracking.

I think the woman’s game is still in its infancy, most players are only amateurs even in our super league……. seen some good football when England won the Euro’s though, a work in progress.
