More of the same at Anfield and they will bury us without trace, starting with 2 midfielders against their three and with MGW and Johnson losing the ball regularly and not tracking back put too much pressure on the back three

Against Liverpool you will have to play 5-4-1 with Surridge up to to hold the ball up to bring midfield runners into play

Sorry MunMad, but all I saw of Surridge today was him constantly acquainting his backside to the turf. He was quite simply woeful.

MM I am sorry Mangala and Freuler add nothing to a game to change it. Against Liverpool I would play Shelvey, Colback, Yates ( hopefully fit ) , plus ne other. I would bench Johnson and MGW. Leave Surridge up front.

We were never going to best Man U and have now lost 4 x. They were a classy premier side, no tricks just telling passes. There was a point where we seemed unable to get hold of the ball in and around our penalty box. If they were pedigree premiership we were division one relegation fodder. The gulf between us was that great. This season we have not had a striker for all that money spent.

MUNMAD your post is pointless play 5-4-1 against Liverpool the team you have suggested is nearly the same as today's team and the same formation.

It's a shame we have lost but I think everyone has to remember we were bottom of the championship and my god we were never ready for the Premiership and we have had to buy whole new team, enjoy the ride and enjoy the rest of the season.
