Wow what an end to the premier. Breathtaking. For champions and relegation. 👌 great for the neutral.

Just surprised Liverpool haven’t called for a Judge led public enquiry into the actions of Aston Villa’s defence. Surely got to blame someone?
Personally I find Premiership football too heavily weighted towards the top 4 or 5 clubs to make it interesting. The football is entertaining and fast but a but a bit over hyped and vacuous. It’s mostly like watching Real Madrid playing Nottingham Pork Butchers 2nd team most matches.

{Ed014's Note - so you don’t want to get promoted into the Prem then? 🤷‍♂️

Unfortunately Ed it’s the way it is. To survive my team must get promoted and take the money. It’s a mixed blessing really. The romantic in me dreams of the days when a newly promoted club become League Champions first season up then goes on to win 2 European Cups. It would never happen now unless you take the Emirates/ Saudi/ American/ Russian gold. I’m my mind promotion is a necessary evil.
But there it is mate. I just don’t believe the hype and propaganda of the Premiership. I enjoyed the days when it meant something.

I see Liverpool have just signed Fulham Academy product and star player Cavalhro for peanuts ( well £5 plus add ins) . See what I mean Ed? If you are top of the food chain you stay there by creaming off the best of the rest. Forest will undoubtedly lose Brennan, Worrall etc if we don’t go up ( or even if we do, like Fulham) .

{Ed014's Note - Stokey I missed your first reply as it wasn’t put back for me but even big clubs lose big players.

I’m sure United didn’t want to let Ronaldo go first time around, Chelsea and Hazard much like Liverpool won’t want to lose Mane or Salah.

You’ve got to be in it to win it and you have great history in the top tier and the Champions league.

Fair point Ed but Hazard and Ronaldo both went to Real Madrid another super rich club. My point is that there are the major top elite clubs, like Real, Barca, and another 4 or 5 throughout Europe who will always cream off the best of the rest and keep the others below them. But it is what it is . I guess things move on and it’s now an industry with no room for the “Miracle men” of yesterday. I guess Leicester bucked the trend but even they had ( and have) mega bucks behind them.

{Ed014's Note - I know it’s currently all about money but to have big games back at the City ground has got to be what it’s all about, to do what Brentford have done on a tiny budget.

Be in there and show the bigger clubs a thing or too and hopefully stay up and build up, become a fixture in the Prem and not be a yo-yo club.

With your current manager you at least have a fighting chance and finding the hidden gems much like Southampton had been doing.

Who knows where it could lead mate.

Good luck for Sunday mate, will genuinely be great to see you back up in the Premier League! 🤞🏼🙂

Many thanks Ed! You are right in what you say. I get you think we Forest fans are never bloody happy! 👍😁😁.

{Ed014's Note - you’re welcome Stokey and your bloody not! 🤣🤣
