Derby are going to test Nffc further with an improved offer for Lansbury. It is rumoured to be in excess of 3 million.

If that's true we should snap their hands off and before everyone slags me off about selling our so called best player to our arch rivals it's just good business, getting 3m for a player that can walk for free in a few months makes sense to me .

its not the amount of money being on offer its a case of can we do without him, clearly no.

With respect yes we are currently one a bad run but I feel that people see Lansbury through rose tinted glasses, I'm not saying he's a bad player buy any stretch but I don't believe he is as good as everyone seems to think . For me he only turns it on when he feels like it or his contract is up for renewal ! If he were that good a player he would surely be attracting interest from bigger clubs with respect than Burnley, Watford and Derby . Take the first half against Newcastle whilst it was 11 v 11 he didn't get near their midfields and they are hardly world beaters, just saying !

He isn't the best player, but who would replace him seeing as we can't buy anyone? Our squad is stretched as it is, we can't afford to lose ANY players this window, let alone our captain to our rivals.

We have one one game without him and 7 with him this season including cup matches. weather you think he's good or not those stats speak for themselves. peopele say he's not a leader but they must be more resilient with him In te team or our results wouldn't be so bad without him in the team!

Stats are often dismissed on this site UTF, not sure why as they are facts in my world. So Lansbury gets injured and we deliver a truly appalling set of results. The results are a fact and I guess it is an opinion that those results would have been different if Lansbury had been available.
