We all know what is coming down the tracks, lose to Derby on Friday in front of the Sky cameras ( hardly ever a good thing! ) Fawaz can't take it any longer and pulls the trigger, so long DF, and around and around we go, again! Hope I am wrong but I feel the script is already written!

Surely you have seen enough under Freedman. 15 games in same old excuses, how long will you give it another 5 games, 10 games. It won't improve, needs new direction.

Winning is a habit something this team does not have.

Fawaz must act now but question is who to bring in.

The question is not who to bring in? The question is who will want the job? Not many wanted it before, even SP turned it down when first asked, McCarthy and O'Neill not interested and neither was Warnock. The short tenures of McClaren, McCleish and O'Driscoll tell a story as did the frustrations of BD and the treatment of Cotterill. Who will want to work for Fawaz now? That is the question. Step by step he is gradually eroding the club. We need radical change which might only happen if we actually get relegated.

Stuart Pearce turned it down because he was honouring his contract for the World Cup!

I have seen enough, this is relagation form but as F. A Wazz has said who do we get in to replace DF? Who ever it is we will get the usual bounce of good form for a few games but we will still have the embargo, injuries and what ever is going on behind the scenes. Can't see too many mangers wanting to take a chance with us.

What idiots there are on here calling for the chop! I've been to every game and the players are playing for the manager and team and have been 85% of the time. As good as any other club. Something df needs credit for unlike how psycho left us. Scratching heads. Granted where not scoring but we just need a break. That final third and the treatment room is killing us as well as the fans who judge on results. Df is working with the tools he's got. What would we gain bringing in another manager? Merry go round. Given a bit of luck we will come good. Let's hope and prey we do the derby n kickstart our season with Lansbury n Vaughan back Fresh, and menses or Oliveria take there Chances this time. For the fans, df, and the clubs sake.

If the players are playing for freedman then I'm sorry they are just not good enough. They seem more than happy just to get there pay cheque and not giving a toss. It's about time they stand up and be counted starting Friday.

We have been to most games and completely disagree with you Chapstar79.

No win in 8, 3 wins in 24 tell its own story.

Bad luck, rubbish you make your own luck by making the right decisions. How much longer to you give it before "things improve" 5 games, 10 games? I am telling you a 100 games wouldn't make any odds.

Take last night could have played for a week a we wouldn't score. Winning is a habit, instilled by the Manager and coaching staff on the training ground then in the dressing room before being transferred by the players onto the pitch.

Freedman doesn't have it. Talks a nice talk but that's your lot!

Bluebird-I don't think freedman talks a good talk, in fact he has said some complete nonsense recently. I have backed df more from the stability angle and the fact that I can't see anybody better taking the job but I am losing patience big time. I think we need a strong, no nonsense manager along the mould of mick m or Pearson but I can't see someone like that taking the job and working with fawaz (unless its a long contract on big bucks, which isn't good news for us on the financial side) . I'm struggling to keep backing df but I can't say I'm very confident about who would replace him if he's sacked.

We're playing Ok but getting no luck. DF is doing as good a job as anyone could with what he has at his disposal. No one has turned us over, it's always the odd "lucky" goal. When we put three past Direby on Friday it will be the turning point and all will be forgiven.

10.) 04 Nov 2015
04 Nov 2015 13:58:43
Didn't say "good" talk said "nice" talk! Sorry Episoderacer you simply cannot have "bad luck" game after game. Losing by the "odd lucky goal", do not buy it.

3 wins in 24 tell their own story. For me enough is enough and time for a change. Fresh impetus, new ideas.

I don't think its a bad squad but need to find a winning formula and for me DF not up to it.

11.) 04 Nov 2015
04 Nov 2015 14:35:32
The old 'players not pulling their weight/just picking up a cheque' thing again? Even if we accept for a moment that it's true, doesn't it occur to you to wonder why that might be the case?

12.) 04 Nov 2015
04 Nov 2015 17:15:27
So you're saying it's acceptable to not try and give it your all regardless who's in charge or what the situation is?

13.) 04 Nov 2015
04 Nov 2015 17:55:32
Ok bluebird what's 'nice' about Df's talk?

14.) 04 Nov 2015
04 Nov 2015 18:09:50
The win against qpr was lucky in out favour that's a lucky 3 points there. if green wouldn't of got sent off we wouldn't of scored in a month of Sundays. people seem to forget we got out played and apart from lichaj's shot before the sending off never looked like scoring.

15.) 04 Nov 2015
04 Nov 2015 19:05:16
Bluebird, upto two games ago forest were the leading team in the league with chances created. Shocking I know but a fact. Take your self back to September, 2 cracking wins against qpr and Birmingham and unlucky not to get anything away from Middlesbrough. Then came hull. First half we played the crispest football I have seen and unluvkily lost in the second half. Since then we had two points out of five games. Bristol was appalling and in the other games we have created chances with the blame on us not taking them. Calling for his head is absolutely stupid. There is no room for transfers for any other manager and up until the front line we haven't been bad. Dougies had to work with what he's got. An in my eyes he has the effort of his players. If the poor results continues for another five games then I'd start to worry. Even then I think we need to stick with what we've got. We won't be relegated were too good. We just need stability until nx year get assom Bk and out of the embargo then we can judge him on results, this year is about stability

16.) 04 Nov 2015
04 Nov 2015 19:19:40
Chapter I think you will find it was shots at goal not chances created.50% of those shots were from outside of the box meaning they were really chances just pot shots. shocking I know but fact.
You mention the win at qpr and say we were unlucky not to get anything against boro. agaisnt qpr we were second best until green got sent off. we had one real chance that came from lichaj and that was it. we would of lost that game and would of been soundly beat by the better team if green hadn't of got sent off.

A few minutes away from wins against Bolton and Burnley as well Chapstar.

18.) 04 Nov 2015
04 Nov 2015 22:17:28
Am i right in saying fawaz can pay a manager whatever he wants as it doesn't effect ffp? . so in theory he can source a quality out of work manager and pay him top dollar with incentives and won't effect transfer embargo? Can anyone clarify this please.

{Ed003's Note - No it would come under expenditure.}

19.) 04 Nov 2015
04 Nov 2015 22:29:14
Bugga thought we could at least dangle a million pound carrot for a manager to get us to playoffs at least.

{Ed003's Note - It would be under the figures for next year mind}

20.) 05 Nov 2015
05 Nov 2015 05:08:55
@ Ryry2607: I'm saying that organisation, motivation and instilling belief is something that stems from leadership and management. The suggestion that players don't give their best in return for a simple pay cheque actually supports this.

21.) 05 Nov 2015
05 Nov 2015 05:12:02
@ Ed003: Is that permissible though, i. e. can you preload financial promises into next year's accounts? I might be mistaken but I think I recall that we weren't allowed to commit to a player purchase at the end of a loan period for this reason.

{Ed003's Note - should have made it more clear sorry I was meaning this years figures looked at at a later date not put any monies onto the next set of figures.}

Chapstar, Forest are not too good to go down. Freedman record worse than Pearce. Team needs new direction, new impetus.

Defeat tomorrow night (and it could be embarrassing) Freedman will surely be gone.

How long to do leave it, 5 games, 10 games. Bottom by Christmas? It will not change under him, same with Pearce same scenario.

Needs a Manager with passion, fight, what about Roy Keane?

23.) 05 Nov 2015
05 Nov 2015 19:00:18
Keane is an awful manager and not a very pleasant person, not really a character who would suit fawaz.

24.) 05 Nov 2015
05 Nov 2015 22:07:44
Unpleasant character maybe but also maybe that's what this Club needs.

As for being awful Manager, not so sure about that one.

25.) 06 Nov 2015
06 Nov 2015 00:20:37
I do agree blue bird we need a ruthless character who is only interested in success and using us a stepping stone but unfortunately I don't think fawaz will ever employ someone like that.
