Pearce, coaching staff and players all having big meeting with Fawaz today to try and sort out what's going on. Pearce and Fawaz also having separate meeting.

That will do a lot of good!

Silly coaching ideas need to go - not working

Target man in

Play long ball preserve our champ status try and play the way we want next season.

Someone said last week we lack an identity - spot on.

We should go long ball as we don't have the confidence to play football, carrying as we are will be disastrous for the club as it Will only end one way now.

2.) 11 Jan 2015
There does not need to be a meeting to find out was it wrong - Too many team changes, poor team selection, lack of motivation, manager tactically inept, poor substitutions, no fight or pride, no leaders on the pitch, too much obsessions with the missing injured players. Opposition want it much more than us.

3.) 11 Jan 2015
We cannot play football without andy reid. Whilst he's gone we need a plan which could be to play more direct (hate saying long ball). I do think SP and staff are trying too hard

4.) 11 Jan 2015
Well put Dunlop47. You are spot on in everything you say. I wonder how many of the fans still backing SP will follow the team next year to league 1 grounds. If a change isn't made that's were we are heading.

5.) 11 Jan 2015
2 tough games coming up sheep then fulham, by the time we play millwall we could be right in the thick of it at the wrong end, I love Pearce just like every other fan but no good has a manager, i'm still miffed at what Paterson could do to change the game at Rochdale with a minute plus stoppage time left, bad tactics and too many changes, COYR

6.) 11 Jan 2015
I knew when they gave stuart the job just what a bad move it was I love him And he's my hero but he's a awfull manager and now we're in this mess with him at the helm I really think we will go down if he stays but I also think we may go down if he goes as nobody is gunna come on board now for me now it's all about staying up that's how bad we are whatever happens we cannot have SP in charge next year he does not have the ability to build this team up he can spot talent I will give him that but does not have the faintest idea how to design a team and in my opinion McGovern is as much to blame as he was responsible for the appointment as well all that matters now is championship survival were that desperate it's a joke

7.) 11 Jan 2015
Think I would have players in running through nettles in shorts. Or get them cleaning the stands each week till they make more effort

8.) 11 Jan 2015
There isn't time for SP to hold a meeting today he is too busy running extra training sessions for the under performing fools called the 1st team.

Oh no sorry forgot this is SP who would t have the tactical knowledge to do that! They are probably all at home blaming referees and bad luck,

9.) 11 Jan 2015
Stevie wonder could see what's wrong.
when a player comes in and says I can't play I'm not in the right frame of mind.
This is Player Power.

10.) 11 Jan 2015
As said by many others… poor tactics. Long ball to Britt on his own up front …never won a header yesterday. Break out far too slow and when wingers reach the corners, the ball is always passed backwards. Players have too many touches before passing sideways ! Too slow, too predictable …that's why we only had one shot on target against Wednesday! Coaching and style of play has to change to be productive.

11.) 11 Jan 2015
At least pearce as gave it a go I hope in a way he carries on and proves all of us wrong can't c who is good enough out there manager wise to be any better and to be honest who would want to take this team on because at the moment this team would struggle in league 2

12.) 11 Jan 2015
If there is a change who do Forest fans want, Rosler not doing anything he got the sack from Wigan I know, but Malky isn't doing much there either, not really much out there

13.) 11 Jan 2015
If the post about the meeting is correct, then everyone meeting to discuss the situation seems like a sensible and intelligent move. The club needs to stick together and, if it can, try to iron out the difficulties. That approach seems far better than an autocratic owner just swinging the axe, that's happened before and it's got us nowhere.

14.) 11 Jan 2015
Gomez01623 - Nigel Adkins.

15.) 11 Jan 2015
Well said Dunlop47, so right!
SP was a fantastic player for our club, a legend, as a manager he had a go and failed after a good start, time to go!
League One, not again, please!

16.) 11 Jan 2015
All the managers that are available have all failed in there last job, what makes you think the next will get it right here?

17.) 11 Jan 2015
Just need to try taking a shot at goal every now and then, how often do we see good goalscoring opportunities go to waste by overplaying?, or too many long diagonals? just take a look at t goals scored in the championship yesterday, most of them were opportunistic digs at goal. at worst you miss, but at least it shows your trying.

18.) 11 Jan 2015
Adkins, McDermott, Sherwood, Rosler, Keane, Warnock, Burley, Curbishley, etc etc.

19.) 11 Jan 2015
I'm planning to get down to the ground early tomorrow to see the queue of experienced managers desperate to take over a mid table club, with no chance of getting new players in, a trigger happy owner, a despondent team. Let's be realistic, there's no practical option than stick with Psycho. And remind me where Forest were after Brian's first half season?

20.) 11 Jan 2015
Diamond Geezer, I ll join you. And bring a flask. And some heart pills in case it all gets too much!!

21.) 11 Jan 2015
I agree dg the managers out there will do no better with the team we have now and none of them managers would do well in the premiership and that's what we are aiming for in the next few years I have thought about it long and hard change manager I say stick with pearce he will have that team up for the fight especially next week

22.) 11 Jan 2015
BC had already established himself as a manager and also won the league with a very small provincial team so please don't compare
him with with SP who as a manager hasn't achieved anything yet. I could give you hundreds of examples of managers who initially didn't achieve and carried on not achieving. Soz one of my pet hate comparison with BC and AF

23.) 11 Jan 2015
How many more managers does Fawaz have to pay off!!
Let's stick and fight!
Reality check! We are the supporters of one of the greatest clubs in the country. However it is sad to say we no longer have that team to fill the boots of players gone by.
15 management appointment in 20 years tells it's own story.

24.) 11 Jan 2015
We are second only to Leeds in terms of the poor management of the club. Pearce nowhere near BD as a tactician and motivator. Even the Derby fans must be bored of it now, there is no hope of us getting anything from the next game than another embarrassing stuffing. I sort of hope we do in a perverse way, the fans don't deserve it but the players do. Go on Derby put the bunch of overpaid muppets out of their misery. I spare only Osbourne and Antonio from that comment.

25.) 11 Jan 2015
There's only one reason why Forest would struggle to attract a new manager of any standing and it's got nothing to do with current fortunes on the pitch, playing squad or FFP sanctions.

26.) 11 Jan 2015
Wasn't saying he was getting the sack, just to clarify that.

27.) 11 Jan 2015
Yes we all love Pearce, he will always be a Forest idol! But if any other Manager was in charge right now, everyone would want him out!

28.) 11 Jan 2015
I'm all for stability and giving a manager time, but it has to be the right man! It has to be someone that shows they can use the time to build towards promotion and no matter how many SP supporters bang the drum in his support SP hasn't done anything to show this is the case or is likely to change. The blind loyalty is admirable but misplaced as the longer his tenure is allowed to limp along the more harm is being done to his status, the playing staff and fans who appear to be moving into the for and against SP camps. I was at the match yesterday and the support for SP was not as impressive or widespread as was reported in the radio commentary or in the press. I hope that SP does the decent thing and resigns as Fawaz is in an impossible situation as whichever way he goes he will open himself up to a world of criticism.

29.) 11 Jan 2015
Why do we keep playing Lichaj!

He is awful wherever he plays and we just gave him a new contract!

It's that sort of decision that is costing us.

I was so frustrated watching at the weekend as we did so many things wrong.

Certain players were not trying and others looked like they had no idea what to do with the ball.

I suppose I was spoilt watching the likes of Des Walker.

I don't think Psycho is working and we need a change of manager (sorry Psycho).

11 Jan 2015 18:18:38
Let's face it, they do need to sit down and discuss each and everybody's inept performance. This may unite all as a unit going forward. As far as the person who picks the team, tactics and formation is concerned, sorry but I think, clutching at straws, started when landsbury was played out of position, then confirmed when ince got a second start. Don't know best team or set up.

31.) 11 Jan 2015
Totally agree, Dunlop 47 said it as we all feel.

32.) 11 Jan 2015
What about Martin o neill has he not said that he would love to take over at Forestat some time, i was informed that he can leave ROI at any time

33.) 11 Jan 2015
I never wanted Mick McCarthy, but look what he is achieving. Got some of our so called cast offs too. let's get a recognised championship manager and give him time. Pearce is not that I am afraid

34.) 11 Jan 2015
11 Jan 2015 19:29:50
There is a lot of passion on the page- shame not as much on the pitch! Lots of sense being wrote. we are lost without Reid- laceless is not good enough- Mancienne and Hobbs are our obvious first choice centre backs- Kane looks quality- we have one game plan and that's Antonio (and all the other teams know this and treble up on him) osbourne can always hold his head up after the game- and that's about it!
Let's ask this- a player signs at 7pm on a Friday and gets put in at half time When he has had not even one training session with the players around him?? That's nieve to say the least and desperate! We have no idea wht to do other than the Antonio option! Veldwrijk is a country mile from playing in leave 2- Assombolonga can't hold his own water - never mind the ball and bringing others into play- so I go to Derby to shout at thier fans and hope we keep it respectable and under 4 goals !!
Fawas cannot sack SP - Sp won't walk out with Derby being the next game- Mexican standoff!
Forest have unbelievable fans- shame we are always in this situation!

35.) 11 Jan 2015
Leeds Red: spot on.

36.) 12 Jan 2015
Forest have a track record of picking the nearly man as manager a long string of failures since Sir Brian prove this fact. However whether Sp is a hero or not, whether tactically inept or not, are we all not losing sight of the fact that there are 11 players on the pitch being paid a shed load of money to perform like a saturday pub team? The side has no width, one out and out striker up front and a midfield devoid of any creativity. Assombolonga and Fryatt are without doubt quality strikers and have shown it on the rare occassions they get a quality ball through - their inability to score is created by having to retreat to the edge of their own 18 yard box to collect the ball. It is also this lacklustre midfield that lose the ball and don't get back to rectify the situation often leaving the back four exposed and under more pressure than necessary. Yes we have been unfortunate with the injuries to Cohen and Reidy but there are players who are equally as talented just do not have the passion or pride to represent the great club forest is. Bear with psycho let's get onto the real culprits of our teams demise the £1.5 million pound plus wage bill that ponce around the pitch like a load of fairies.
Soap box away

37.) 12 Jan 2015
No meeting yesterday T dog according to Paul Taylor. Fawaz "not looking to make any change " and meeting " not meant as a showdown. " Have we all just wasted a load of ink (or its electronic equivalent? ) or is NP wrong?

38.) 12 Jan 2015
12 Jan 2015 22:21:28
I think we should all get together and have a meeting about the meeting not being a meeting.
Then Plan a real meeting to meet at a planned meeting place ?
Anyone in??
I say the forest team agree to a planned meeting and all turn up for a change this coming Saturday at goat park!
If I got to be there- they should at least turn up???

39.) 12 Jan 2015
I'll meet you half way if you can guarantee the meeting will take place atthe agreed meeting time and won't be a meeting to discuss whether a meeting should have taken place in the first instance.
