Contract talks with VP suspended for the foreseeable future... Here we go again.

Can’t we just try + have a few months of stability? Rather than leaving a cloud of doubt over him (and staff, players) through summer and the start of the season?

I've just read that it's VP who doesn't want to sign a new contract this summer. He's turned down Saudi offers and is currently happy to stay put. I'm guessing he wants to see how our summer transfer business goes before committing long term. Can't blame him, really. Our transfer business over the last couple of seasons has been very much hit and miss. ?
