RUMOURS:

Sunderland and Nottingham Forest have Red Bull Salzburg's Karim Konaté on their radar and the Premier League duo join Borussia Dortmund in the transfer pursuit. Konaté has scored 47 goals and contributed 13 assists from 99 matches, of which six goals and an assist are from this season.

Fenerbahçe left back Archie Brown is reportedly back under consideration, and Forest are said to be preparing an offer worth about £13 million.

Nottingham Forest favourites to sign Tyler Morton in January. Former Everton CEO Keith Wyness, speaking to Football Insider, believes Forest are currently ahead of Newcastle in the race for the Lyon midfielder if a move develops in January. At 23, Morton is young enough to grow with the side but has already experienced senior football in England and France.

His passing and calmness could bring a different rhythm to Glasner's midfield, while regular minutes at the City Ground may be easier to offer than at St James' Park.

Archie Brown looks a good player, tbh I'd never heard of him until i watch him play vs Lyon in the Champions League play off games. Impressive performances for him. ?.

All three of the above would be handy. Morton wouldn't take up a squad place as he's still a "youth" player.

I'm sure we need a left sided CD as cover as well. Murillo looks off the pace and we don't have anyone else to play that position.

Morton does look decent, similar to McAtee but naturally plays a little deeper. I did suggest we go after him when he left Liverpool, but obviously Edu wasn't listening to me?.
Honestly don't know anything about the lad from RB Salzburg, Austrian league is not on my radar. And have only watched Brown a couple of times, apparently he a regular scorer in the Turkish league as well as in Europe.

Great energy and pace from the full back position.
As for a left sided CB.time to cash in on Murillo? Maybe unless he gets back to the player he was a season or so ago, injuries seem to have set him back and if 70-80 million was on the table now, im sure we'd snap their hands off. ?.
