There are only a few actual pro women's leagues around the World and the only real threats within the tournament are USA, Germany, Spain and France. Maybe Netherlands and Sweden too, but there's a clear gap between the best and the rest. It's hardly a depthy competition. Pretty sure if the our men's team existed in such shallow talent pool they'd have a greater chance of being succesful too.

My point being, it's never helpful to compare the men and women's game, just accept them for what they are. And well done, ladies.

I don't think anyone is comparing men's v women's football, but the teams you mentioned, don't the men's team also have to play. I just think it's a great event for every Young female, it's a great achievement, they are in the final and could win!. And unlike the men's team they are not playing in Qatar, because they can't there female!.
