Well in view of what has happened this morning I'll give you my balanced opinion.
What marinakis has done by backing cooper,
I read his statement and thought what an utter waste of time. He has, instead of calming things, has threatened cooper. How can things improve immediately when it's crystal clear poor Steve is struggling. He was helpless after the game lastnight and if things were going to improve there would have been at least indications of organisation and a belief in playing football. Marinakis should have backed SC until beyond the end of the season. The fixtures indicate a tough conclusion for the club so why not see it through as relegation seems inevitable. The pressure now is intense on SC and will this bring out the best of him and the team. Not a chance, capitulation on conceding as this lot cannot perform when things aren't so desperate so why will anything change. I will not pretend to liking SC but I admire his ballsy attitude. What he had last term was admirable, but it hasn't transcended the divisions. He's lost, we can see that now, and maybe marinakis could have insisted that cooper seeks to bring in help in the form of an experienced man to help him navigate this difficult period, which would really help cooper develop and retain his status. The kindest thing would be to put him on gardening leave and bring in a short term stalwart to see if they can get a tune out of this lot. If we get relegated then no harm done, bring back cooper, refreshed as everyone keeps saying he is the best man to get us UP again.

Just think his card is marked hope he turns it round but won't hold my breath I will be shouting for my club to win all the matches left but then I've being doing that anyway because believe or not I don't care who's in charge I just want a winning team.

He can always manage EM's shipping line Jester. Eight tankers in the English Channel in two banks of four. Next boat up and Unload em on the break. Take it one boat at a time. ??.

Improvements in performance and results required. Villa defeat equals bye bye.

Thing is balloons to improve you need change. A different voice a different approach, whether that’s an additional voice or an alternative, things need turning on its head. You can’t suddenly change momentum or direction with the status quo ( down down deeper and down lol ) I would draft in Stuart Pearce in a heart beat. These players need some passion drilling into them some bite and if nothing else a different voice. Cooper can lay out his formations and Pearce would get it to work. Even if it means chasing them on to the grass with a pitchfork. Coopers pride and ego won’t allow that. Yes 2star I think he has an ego….

Pearce is all about motivation, Cooper man management. What we seem to lack is someone with tactical nous at this level but Cooper wouldn't play 2nd fiddle to someone else coming in. Villa are a prime example of what can be achieved.
