i feel sorry for fans going to the world cup now because they won't get any protection from the police whatsoever.

I'd strongly advise fellow brits to watch it from the safety of your living room or your local.Sadly, I'd be amazed if someone doesn't get killed over there, their thugs are many in number and organized on military lines with police connivance and turning a blind eye.The gangs include combat veterans from Chechnya and Ukraine. The only hope is that, with the eyes of the world on him,Putin will take steps to protect his countries prestige and bring the full power of the state down on the hooligans but after Salisbury I wouldn't count on it.Be extra specially careful if you're going there

I strongly advise fans to watch the world cup. . on holiday in Greece. 😁 I'm going to Crete for the first group games, 25 games of football in 8 days. Greece didn't qualify, so no trouble. Copious Mythos and 30 degrees of sunshine. Not a Russian copper in sight.👌 Happy Days indeed.😏

Bet carragher would not have opened the car window in Russia?
