Lars scored again yesterday against PSV. Now before you all jump on me and tell me he's rubbish. I'm not saying we should have him back next year and give him a proper go. I don't think it will ever work out for him at forest. Maybe he does get really homesick. It happens to people in any profession. My point is if he carries on at this rate and ends up with between 15 to 20 goals this season. He is our player. So what would a 24 year old striker be worth that has just scored that amount of goals in the dutch prem? Not in the memphis depay/wijnaldum bracket but got to be worth some good pound coins to us?

mm not football, but when i was working away from home in geneva and other places, i didn't get home sick. 2 grand a week in the late 80s was good money.

Hopefully we can get a decent sum for him.

Both Pearce and DF didn't fancy him although I suspect by the time DF arrived it was more about his attitude because I think he expected to get more game time under Pearce.

DF probably inherited the problem. Twenty goals in Dutch first surely worth 1 - 1.5 million?

Pity we can't get him back and firing for forest you'd think he could fire 15 - 20 in the champ as he clearly knows where the net is. If you check out the stats from Zwolle games he usually gets a few shots on target every game and often a goal.

I'm pretty sure he will be sold. I also think 1.5 million would be too low. Imagine if forest went in to try and buy a 15 to 20 goal striker from Holland. They would be quoted silly money!

Lars - the tallest player on the pitch but couldn't win any headers. Maybe he has improved but he didn't look, prolific and I was very very disappointed with him at the end.

Maybe so @ JonathanMountford but at the end of the day he still wasn't given enough time on the pitch to prove himself, he deffinately had the passion! Take a look at both dxxby games last season when Britt scored at home and Osborn scored the winner at the sh! t pit he was the first person on the pitch bless him. I personally would welcome him back with open arms.
